as for the similarities between the first krill room and the forest temple (the gold diamonds, the staggered building in the center, the rotating diamond columns in the doorframe, the giant hallway with repeating structure supports followed by a slope, etc), while there'sa lot of connections, I don't think they're the same place in two points in time
Things like the wasteland area being surrounded by an ocean, differences in the above room, the forest and wasteland elders clearly being aroud at the same time as each other due to their thrones at the end of vault and their faces in the eden gate, all that stuff
I imagine the two rooms just happened to have similar architecture, which isn't a rare thing for societies to have

there isnt a queen mentioned at all in the concept arts and ingame, its just a theory if there was one to exist
the king isnt ingame anymore either, but he was pretty prominent im the concept arts (check the pinned msgs here for the concept arts albums if ur interested). we dont really know his role, but he's involved with eden

I think I’m reading too much into this and they’re all actually the same symbol (except the central one on the ground in orbit/constellation button because they have the broken lines and dots)

IM JUMPING IN LN THE OLD MAN THEORIES LATE BUT A

so I’m going to reuse a theory I’ve said before, I don’t know if I’ve sent it here but I’ve said it elsewhere,

Since spirits seem to have a home realm, they usually reflect said home right?
When we travel to Eden, no one is there to save else for other sky-children like ourselves. If Eden is supposed to be this “heavenly” place, and Skykids resemble angels in a way, would that be their home?

I’d imagine that if regular citizens were allowed into Eden, there would be some to save alongside the kids, but there isn’t.

And since it’s pretty agreed upon that Isle represents “new beginnings and rebirth” and it’s the first place we see on our journey, perhaps Isle had some information on Eden that the others didn’t.

it’s a stretch but it also may be why there are so few people, no civilization or ruins other than boats. That new area, up by the temple could be an exception, but even it doesn’t resemble a living space or anything other than an empty structure built into a cave pEyes

What I’m getting at is that yes, Isle and Eden may very well be connected, bringing joy the bell ringing thing too,,, that always confused me and It’s a nice little detail that points in that direction

Gratitude don’t have much story going on, but the fact that the same Valley spirit from Gratitude appears in the Lightseeker’s Ice skating boi was pretty sweet

#

wonder if the devs gonna do the same when the next season comes

( but yeah both Gratitude and Winter has their Valley Seasonal Spirits on the same place, which is at the ice rink, except for Belonging which is allll the way at the temple )

What if the darkness plants, crabs, and krill represented something in life?

Since, yanno, the 7 kingdoms already explain how life is apparently

The crabs could be a metaphor for fear, maybe. You're always trying to avoid them as they actively come for you.

The darkness plants could serve as sadness, maybe. They grow back, but eventually theyre destroyed by light, which might mean we find a way to get over the sadness, even if its temporary.

The krill/dragon could mean something lingering-- repressed bad memories, bad thoughts about oneself. Like, if you're caught by them, you certainly risk your light being destroyed. Just like if those mems come back and you think about it, it makes ya feel bad

This may have been said before but what if the forest temple is actually a power diamond factory? The forest elder is the blacksmith that makes the power diamonds but the forest kingdom ran out of light (which is why there’s darkness plants everywhere). On the door there is a mural that shows to make a power diamond they used parts of the trees and combined it with the light from butterflies captured in pots from prairie. In the cutscene the elder is still trying to create power diamonds but she only has the parts from the trees, once we give her light she can complete the power diamond which opens the door.

The crown is used to represent Eden, as seen in the Vault cutscene. Which further adds to my thought that the skykids home was Eden, as it’s also used as the image for the friends constellation

Hm, I don’t think it’s shown in any murals except for the final constellation gate before Eden,,, like that’s the only place I remember seeing it.
