You may have ended up in an oob area. Try restarting the game and using the return shrine to go back, then walk up to the light beam and fly up directly from there

So the first time I went through eden my game started glitching after falling to the dark area with the child, so every time i went up the beacon it started the room over again, just from when you fall then run over to the kid. Well, it being my first time doing eden, I thought that was normal, and that I was going to have to do it for every winged light I had managed to pass off. It took me over two dozen repeats to think maybe maybe this isn't actually whats supposed to happen...

you can get 39 wingbuffs from base game spirits in total
nope, no extra wings here. you get the same amount every time you g through eden and orbit: 10 winged lights in eden, and 1 in orbit (known as the credit star). if you get krilled/lose winged lights for some reason, theres a chance your lost winged light(s) is/are one of the eden wls, but its only possible if you collect the wls in eden before losing some wls

reliving spirits only gives you candles the first time you relive them, sadly. to get regular candles, you can gather the wax that you get from candles in the realms or by burning the darkness plants. To get the red ascended candles, you can save the statues (1 statue=0.25 ascended candles) and !iheartyou should have some more info about hearts

Okay, a kind of cute story. Me and a bunch of random players (clearly all at least semi-experienced) were in the first part of eden with the wind and rocks. Basically, we all seemed to share the goal to try and fly up to the gate, we were lighting each other and deep calling to refuel energy in between attempts to fly. I didn't notice anyone chatting, or more than one pair holding hands, so I assume none of us knew each other, but we were still boosting each other, waiting for people to come down to replenish them. We all did that for a while, kind of ignoring the people passing through, maybe lighting them if they felt friendly, until a moth shows up. Suddenly it seemed that we all collectively dropped what we were doing to escort the moth. Thus resulting in 5 hapless babysitters accompanying a single moth all the way to the point of no return at least (I left at that point)

It took a single glimpse of a brown cape, 5 stars, and a free hairstyle for a bunch of strangers to decide "protecc"

let me just make something very clear

you cannot get bonus WL from wing buffs from your game friends

the bonus WL is only exclusive to spirits (and no, seasonal spirits do not count)

you can ascend your friendship with a player by spending ascended candles to unlock a wing buff

BUT you do not get bonus WL from them

you will eventually learn a lot about rebirthing

rebirthing is sad but beautiful too

sad because you will lose all, and i mean ALL of your current winged light count during the rebirth, so you could save lost souls (or statues ig)

and after dying, (if someone else is there with you in eden), you will be seeing them struggle and they will die and be with you

My personal best tips to get as many AC as possible in one trip would be:

• zoom out as much as you can to help you see as much as possible, especially statues hidden behind rocks

• prioritize lighting fire first so if you lose all your light you'll have a way to get it back easily

• when in the periodic rain area, listen carefully for pattern on when the rain starts and when it's about to stop, it may take practice but you'll slowly know how to predict it

-in the last area (constant rain), don't jump! Jumpin makes it easier for you to get knocked down and it takes longer for you to get back up, causes too much hassle

-last but not least, check the pins! There are very useful maps there, will help you ensure getting as much ac as possible!

the results from this might be a bit mixed: i've heard of it not working for people if they've already given winged light to some statues in stormlock, but i've managed to break myself out once doing this (didn't touch any statues when i accidentally went into stormlock)
