I can now confirm that chibi form does help make eden run easier. I just did it today as a practice run (I didn’t go beyond point of no return as I already collected all the candles so can’t say much about that)

one bit of advice i'd really recommend keeping in mind is not being too attached to your winged lights, because there are some extra risks when moving in a group (particularly with the krill)

as long as you're okay with that, there's really nothing to lose with helping out other players going up
i guess the main warning i'm giving there is that if you're helping out of the idea of mutual benefit, it comes with mutual risks as well -- which kind of makes it more meaningful if you're going to stick by someone even with the risks
now that i think of it, that actually goes right back to the original challenge the game was presenting to us on our first run through eden: are you willing to give up the winged lights you painstakingly gathered to help someone else?

Learned a few things about watching The krill do:
The one that scans the bottom stairs occasionally will scan it twice is a quick succession... so you might think the course is clear but it not
Wait until you see the krill disappear under the bottom right before going
You have roughly 30-45 seconds to clear the entire stairway until the krills come back

I went into Eden for the first time as Chibi earlier today and accidentally oobed too often for my liking, and it's a lot easier to get stuck, blown away, and tripped up with steps/rocks
