i'd just say be suuper careful until you get to the point of no cover and only head from lamp to lamp (or to statues from cover) immediately after each burst of rockfall/rain in your path

also a statue was all blue like right before you burst from your statue in the last cutscene of this area and it looked really cool

and apparently (?) sending out a deep call helps too or something

My sister introduced this game and told me this is an peaceful game about travelling. I played this game since it looks so peaceful(im still amazed that this is an multiplayer game)

later when i look at the cosmetics tips, i saw ‘most dangerous parts of the sky kingdom’. I immediately became worried. Lol and i got scared when i got there.

Later, i became less scared and attempt to go through wasteland again. Here was when i met my friend (i named them Peter), i noticed they were following me. and i was like,’ok, guess they’re with me now.’ And i friended them

Finally, we arrived to eden (sorry its a bit too long)

I was very scared when i read ‘you may lose all your winged light’, but i thought me and peter will survive eden (lol i was very wrong). Even in the first stage, we couldnt stop falling and getting hit. And we went the wrong way when we almost at the end of the first stage, and then we had to start over

I really trust Peter when going to eden(they were leading me), when we accidentally separated, i immediately rush to Peter and ask them to hold my hand again. Someone also friended us(named them Mary), so we continue the eden journey together

Going through eden probably took us two hours, i dont know if its that long, but its possible since we were just moths. We lost a bunch of winged light, and since we dont know how to hold hands with three players, it took even more time

you regain your wings by recollecting them at the place you first found them. hope this helps!

Why does it reset/what does it reset

At the end of Eden, there are statues you must donate your winged lights to in order to progress and gain ascended candles. You can only donate your winged lights once per week as to not abuse the method of gaining ascended candles. Going to Eden within this time frame will bar you from seeing the statues you’ve already given winged lights to. Once Eden resets, these statues will reappear, allowing you to give your winged lights to them once more in order to gain ascended candles.

Regarding the eden hole, you have to time your jump with the wind to get across. Look at the particles in the air to judge the wind, if they’re still then it’s a good time to jump. It’s perfectly possible, just takes some timing and awareness of the wind

you can learn strategies to get past the hole more easily, but i understand the frustration. it doesn’t feel like it’s supposed to be so difficult.
like eden’s supposed to be hard, but it’s weird that one of the most difficult spots to get past is trying to jump a meter forward over and over.

it’s not even like it’s preparing you for a later section where jumping over gaps like that is important and more dangerous (like the rocks in the first section do)

Just walk up to the edge of it But do not touch the wall and then you can jump right over it without having to try again tho u need to find the right spot to do this + u have to be walking while u jump too, no pause

If you want to go to Eden then go, 80 is just to maximize the amount of candles you get

You can get 15.75 candles in one week. Lots of players will try and get all candles in one go. But go at your own pace and don’t stress too much. As you get more ascended candles and offer them to spirits, you get permanent wing power and that makes future trips easier.

If you currently have all wing buffs, I think you start somewhere around 40 permanent winged light?

When i did eden regularly I always put a note somewhere telling me i did eden for x week

...so just now, I was bopping up through Eden to place myself for a statue run in the morning, got followed by some poor moth who thought I knew what I was doing (and she went straight into the statue field when we got there), but we somehow miraculously landed the first krill hill shortcut bypassing the stairs. Well, kind of.

We ended up landing high on a beam overlooking the broken pipe that leads to the lanterned crab pit. While I was trying to figure out where we were, suddenly we lost all our stars and went monochrome. There was a krill passing underneath at the time, but afaik it didn’t see us and we weren’t knocked over or anything. Anyone know what happened?

afaik sometimes when a krill floats through you (without seeing you) all your energy gets sucked out of you pretty much instantly. it’s happened to me a couple times.

You can, the statues there are available to have winged lights donated like the other ones.

If you’re talking about the statues that provide light, I’m sure you can light those too, but they wouldn’t be of much use in that area.

It looks like your character might still run/animate like you are walking but you will not advance.

There is a bench on the left side of the path leading to rebirth. It’s up a spiral incline of stars.

In terms of “home” items, there is the constellation hub where you can greet spirits and unlock their gifts and the stones around the hub allow you to change your appearance.

Yes you can still give your light to the statues even when unlit.

You cannot light any of the torch beacons though but that’s a null point halfway around there.
