best time to move is when the krill is moving right, and you go just before the rocks stop

normally i’m able to run past ready to tap the grab star button so i have it once i’m in the tunnel

Its 20 wings or spirits to enter eden (I think), once you've done it once you should be able to enter it pretty much anytime

You can go through eden multiple times to save more "kids" and the kids reset once weekly so you can get more basically

After more OOB exploring, me and my friend @simple pine found that it is possible to travel in/play Eden with the white filter (dubbed “True Eden” or “Haven” by me). So far the only limitation seems to be flying too low, which resets the player, bringing them to the beginning of the krill area and returning the red filter (the reset point is far below the the intended path).

ok ok so I wrote abt the 116th winged light randomly spawning in daylight prairie, in the bird’s nest room over a child of light I had already collected, but I did not record it. so I dropped a couple wing buffs and searched the kingdoms again and sure enough, I was able to find the 116th winged light again and this time it spawned in eden.

right actually this has been a while and I had forgotten the original novelty of why I was interested in this. firstly, I made a bonehead mistake in thinking that anyone collects the 116th winged light in orbit. you get back up to 39 and then some people get a lucky 40th once they’re back in the home world. that’s my bad lol very embarrassing on my part. I was originally reporting this because when I first made it to 116, I found the last winged light in a room where I had already collected them all; it made a child I had already interacted with respawn. so now I suppose if I already maxed at 116 and then lost some, if I already had then they’d all respawn and be collectible again.

the original point was that I was on a play through where I had already collected all the lights again, was already at 115 and then randomly found that the 116th had spawned over a child I had already collected in prairie.

Exploring Eden can be a lot of fun. You can figure out where you can fly, find shortcuts or new places to hide.
I’d suggest going when you’re planning on a full run anyways, so you don’t mind losing some wings

Ahh, i recommend going for the cheapest ascended candle unlocks ones btw, that way you’ll have more wing buffs than if you bought expensive ones first

when you go into the starry area after orbit, you go to the platform I think and like tao said, you click on the center of The constellation you finished and they appear. Every elder hair costs 2hearts so make sure you have that

You should keep going back to get all the wing buffs. Try to go in with as many wings as possible, though 40-50 is alright. The more wings you have to give, the more ascended candles you'll get at the end

I just had the most horrible trip though Eden. It was only my 2nd time through and I was planning to do it alone, but someone took my hand to guide me at the very start. I figured what the heck, it would get the “it’s better to travel with friends” dialogue off my screen. But the person guiding was even worse at the controls than I am and got us creamed by boulders and blown far off the course. After they got us back on track (and flattened by rocks a couple more times), they took MY hand. I got us lost (slipped when I tried to get up on a beam at the beginning of the krill area). Still, I managed to get to the statue passageway with full wings, but saw the person wasn’t with me anymore. They were stuck somewhere on the approach, chirping. Since they weren’t coming to join me I realized they must be trapped, so I went back down to help. HUGE mistake. I got krilled and krilled and krilled, lost all my light, and couldn’t get back up to the cave no matter what I did. I gave up and teleported Home and saw that I’d lost 19 stars to that stupid krill.

I always go to Eden alone. I would feel guilty if I placed a Friend in a bad situation and there is no guarantee I’ll have a clean run. I almost always meet others along the way to share light and parts of the path with. Just personal preference.

There is an additional star in Orbit. It's not visible but if you go through the gateway to rebirth, you'll eventually hear the sound of the star collection before you are reborn. Listen for it (or wait at least 5 sec) before you skip the credits

So, I went into eden and before the servers merged I warped to my friend (still on hub island) so that my text was next to his and I and he could see that. Then he went to the constellation before servers merged and joined me, then warped to me in this area. This area is below the eden kickwall and appears to be the hub island offload box, as we were technically on the hub island, and the wind walls are similar sizes. There are even certain places in this box where you do not take eden water damage, which proves terrain. Here’s a screenshot:
