@minor path the ascended candles that you receive can be used to buy wing buffs that give you bonus winged lights and also unlock the higher parts of spirit trees. Basically you’re supposed to light up the statues and get rewards for it, and you’re supposed to die doing that and get reborn. It’s all part of the game

And then you recollect all your winged light, and presumably do it again to get more ascended candles

@frozen geyser you can go back as many times as you like, but once you light all 63 statues you can’t get any more rewards that week so going back is kinda pointless. But I usually go twice a week because I get like half of the candles in my first go and the other half in my second run.

Someone mentioned further up about buying wing buffs with ascended candles. How and where would I do that?

When you open the constellation tree of an emote on the constellation stone, you buy the lock with wings with ascended candles

#

When you buy it the lock becomes unlocked and the next time you go through eden you’ll receive a wing buff (if you buy it while at eden you get it immediately)

#

Each lock is worth one wing buff but wave and cry emotes have 3 tiers so there’s 2 locks for 2 wing buffs

Aww man that reminds me of a friend, she’s Japanese, we made it through the whole part. After our sky children died I couldn’t friend her because we were flying continuously. Luckily servers didn’t change and I was able to friend her after reborn. We’re very active and sends each other hearts daily. Our whole friendship is mostly unlocked (except the 2nd level emotes). Just really great, love this game. I made so many friends here.

So... I was doing a run of Eden right? Well, while i was going through the second section of rocks, any ledge that I tried to jump onto, it glitched me through the world and I went OOB under the floor, and every time I load in Eden again, I keep falling through right next to the pipe

Once I had enough wings from ascended spirits I would just go right back in and redo if I felt I needed before collecting

Now I only go once a week and with 116 parts I can get every statue in one run because do know where they all are and how to navigate everything safely

Hide behind the big rocks bc the big rocks that come through the air go on and off at intervals

You’ll have time to run behind one ledge to another and as long as it’s as tall as you the rocks will fly around and when they stop keep running

i think jumping in the rain isn’t as bad as it used to be, but i did do a comparison run, from the last torch i had 70 stars and missed one statue. it took me 3 minutes on there dot.

I did another run with roughly the same stars starting from the same area. To note, there was no statues and all i did was follow the general path i took originally, i made to to the end at 4:33 mins. Planning on doing another run with statues as well.

But point is, the first run i was actively giving away stars and still made it to the end. just a little comparison might cut the videos together later

I see. So from my impression you’ve yet to buy some from the spirit. Then, the reason you have no cape is because you need to enter rebirth, walk through a giant light door so to speak. You’ll start over with your cape but have to collect all the winged light in the worlds again.

To put it simply, and hopefully clear some confusion:
Wing buffs are buffs bought from the spirit tree for a number of ascended candles scentedcandle
While winged light are the glowing kids you collect in the worlds.

Both grow your cape, but Wing buffs are only collected at the end of Eden in orbit. It’s also recommended to buy the wing buff in Orbit, though you can do that in home space as well

You have to die, but it is possible to get every statue before that happens once you know the level and have enough stars to give away SkyGiveLight

i’ve only done eden once, on like day 3 of playing, and it was epic fail
is it possible to do eden in 2-3 sessions? like, the sections on the map pinned here, i could do section 1, then take a break before trying to go thru section 2, and beyond?

When you unlock a friendship upgrade, but the user deletes their app (making all of their progress get deleted in the process ;-;), their character becomes a spirit, and since they unlocked the friendship upgrade, it makes them ascended. Because of this, they give winged light towards whoever unlocked the upgrade.

Ok so apparently im not the sharpest tool in the shed, I kept wondering where the first two spirit elders where in the stars in sky, coz I could never find them. Turns out I just had to do a deep call 🤦🏼‍♀️

theres a little place in orbit where you can see all the constellations like in your home area

Unlock everything you can for wing buffs but you can also save to unlock friendship levels w ur friends (for warp, piggyback, headpat)

And somewhere on the right hand side after the constellation place is a bridge, at the top you can meditate and get yourself two hearts TGCThumbsUp

At the end of orbit when you walk into the white gate just tap like crazy in this boxed area theres another light but you cant see it TGCThumbsUp
