@covert crag that’s a bug you’re getting. Basically, you just need to keep going back into the raining stones redrain to die until you’re able to go to the next stage.

It seems to happen if you die before other people in that room, or at least that’s what I’ve heard. If there are others in the room, you could try waiting a while til they’ve all gone on to the next stage?

This is just speculation but I think it has to do with how the player works after dying

So like you die and then automatically warp to the next alive player

But there’s an “alive” player oob and it teleports you oob

Which resets you and makes you undead

So you’re stuck like that until that “player” leaves

Honestly, the whole Eden sequence has impacted me in an astonishing way. The Ascent alone has made me reevaluate what I think heaven is like. It’s such a beautiful experience, and masterfully executed.

as for lighting torches before saving statues, I do both. I make sure the torch is lit somewhere save the statues and then go on lighting in another area. Sometime I save statues if they're really close the the torch

my last eden run was in a group, when we got to the red rock rain we all did the deep call while running and for about half the run i still had light, managed to get to the very end. but of course, as always i missed 3 statues in the first area^^; but y’know what, that was a really good strategy

I did Eden last night and merged into the eye of a storm with a bunch of strangers so there was maybe 5 of us total. Everyone had their own path so having those extra torches lit for you was a big help.
But I ended up reviving 3 times so I lost everyone including the friend I went into Eden with beforehand

@bleak rapids the point of eden is that you lose those stars on your cape. You save those statues in the final map and you’re supposed to give away all the stars and whatever you save you get back in the form of ascended candles (red candles). The ratio is 4 statues to 1 candle I think... and you can use those to ascend friendships etc. when you reborn you recollect the stars

I’ve been through it twice (I’ve only been playing for a week or so), & now I’m afraid to go through it again & lose my progress but I’m running out of things to find in the other kingdoms. There’s 37 spirits to get a wing buff from but 2 offer 2 so you can get 39 wing buffs

If you check in your constellation platform and a spirit is golden that means you’ve ascended it (aka bought the wing buff to ascend the spirit)

@wanton junco you can ride the manta solo and with friends. It has been like that at least since before Season of Gratitude ended.
It’s all a matter of timing.

Also I’ve heard that the ascent and Orbit have great OOB but I haven’t tested it yet myself except one time and I got teleport walled right away so I never tried again. That was way back at the very beginning before the steps though. I’m told that you can OOB from the jelly slide.

This problem occurs even if you select the option to continue into the storm. It usually works after you select ‘yes’ or ‘no’ a couple times. Like Mike said, if it still doesn’t work, just warp home in options aka the cog/gear in the top right corner of your screen.

You can look at your constelations to get an idea of how many candles you’ll need to collect, it should show you what each spirit costs for ascended candles, as you buy the buffs from them

If you collect all the wing stars right now, that’s your current max wings. Once you collect some ascended and buy wing buffs in orbit, you can go back, collect all the same spirit wings again, PLUS...you already have your bought wings to add to it

@junior peak when you go through the Storm part of eden you give light to the statues. Once you die and go into orbit, there’s a cutscene where you get eden candles in exchange for the statues you saved. You use the candles to ascend spirits. Each spirit you ascend gives you a wing buff when you’re reborn- you’ll see them line up along the path as you walk towards the big door of light. You can ascend spirits from the Home screen, but you won’t get those buffs until the next time you’re reborn, so it’s usually a good idea to spend as many ascended candles in orbit as you can so that you’re reborn with the buffs. You’ll get buffs from your total number of ascended spirits (not just the most recent ones) every rebirth. Once you’ve ascended all spirits, you’ll be reborn with six cape wedges every time.

With six wedges at rebirth, I don’t even have to collect stars for a second eden run. I can go straight back if I want to. It’s super useful! Also, I can reach all the stars pretty easily without having to build up my cape. I definitely recommend doing eden runs when you can! 😊

There’s a pattern to the rock fall. In the beginning the rocks are easy to pass. Just don’t fly. In the part with the krill and rocks the pattern is 5sec rock fall, 4sec rest. So during the 5sec look at the next safe spot you wanna run to them bolt for it when the rocks stop

For the endless I’d suggest looking to see what statues you want to grab where and locate the torches. Even if you get put out you can still give light but recharging yourself is more important bc it’ll at least prevent you from losing more stars easily

On the 109 star bug, my boyfriend isn’t at the 108 star mark yet but we did the math of what he should be at and he also has one extra. In his case, it was because he picked up the star on the skeleton near the end of vault, but the next time he went back it was there again. He basically got to pick up the same star twice

I got 9 wedge for the first time!!!… for 1 minute rip.

It appears that if your game closes or if you quit the game in this hall, the next time at startup you’re dropped into storm… (I just wanted to check my screencaps 😭)

Oh, reminds me. When I did eden the other day, in that very room (it's the 'tank' room with crabs at the bottom yes?) I got krilled and lost a bunch of light. Like, inside the room, no warning! Then a short while later, still in there, I looked up... and there was a krill inside the room! Wat

it was going through the room somehow rather than sitting in there, but still. They shouldn't go through the room 😬

You'll lose all of your stars, but thats the point of it. And the more stars you had before you went in, that you gave up during it, the more ascended candles you get at the end

whew, I was in Eden just trying to collect the stars there, and I had climbed up to the exit in the little shelter with crabs. So I started beeping to check if anyone's nearby and waited for others. Then I saw a krill plow through the shelter right under me

If you see somebody about to get krilled, make sure the krill isn't behind them. Because if it is, it means you're in the krill's flight path, and you're going to get whacked too. (Have been there, ouch)

the statues you can save at eden have some permanence to them, so when they are saved, they are missing if you decide to run eden again before the reset
