So if a player has already lit some earlier that week, they will only see their unlit ones. If they’re with a player who has lit any that week, that player will see all of them.

Soloing Eden is actually very doable, if you are willing to go slow (no flying and v. limited jumping), stand behind things and recharge at lamps. I’ve done Eden solo every time and only been hit by Krill twice.

Are what you need to ascend spirits, thus purchasing permanent wedges
You ascend them by unlocking a specific node that costs ascended candles, and when you do they become golden, and give you one permanent wedge
However and this is important: you have to ascend them in Eden if you want to be reborn with the extra wing wedges
If you ascend them outside of Eden, you have to go through the whole Eden level and you’ll collect the permanent buffs at the end, before you’re reborn
The cost of the ascensions varies from 1 to 4 candles each if I’m not wrong

@earnest pollen To add onto that, you need to ascend at least 31 (100 - 69 available normally) spirits to get a level 9 cape
And even if you ascend them all (two of them twice), you’ll need to leave Eden right before part 3 to play with it normally, since you need at least 2 of the 10 winged lights in the corridor leading up to it

Ok, now that I’ve gone through Eden a couple of times (like 5 or 6, so still a newbie)... do you guys have a strategy? Like... get the statues in the dead zone first and the safer zone on the second run of the week or something like that? I just run in blind and get around 10-12 candles on my first, but on my second run I never manage to get all of the ones that are left. 🤷🏼♀️

My husband works his way up one side, round, and back down the other side. Worth a try I suppose. He hasn’t beaten me in terms of ultimate candle yield in a single run, but at least he can go up the opposing side on a second run and have things to light.

You have to tap on their star in orbit and then the one item they offer to sell you is the hair which costs 2 hearts per hair (so I think for valley is 4 hearts total = 2 elders)

That map made me realize that perhaps I never got over the second section because I can’t seem to get more than 10 ascended candles with 2 runs (7 the first, 3 the second)

-In section always light the torches first so you can always run back to weather out the waves of red rain.
-Just tap on the statues quickly and run back to the torch, you can always check later
-Try not to hop once the red rocks start falling. It's tempting to run faster but you get hit more if your partway in the air vs walking on ground
-once you're in zone 2 keep tap-calling yourself while you move, especially when you get knocked over. In my experience it helps me move faster

Pretty much as above, do not get discouraged for losing anything out there. Stay focused and progress onwards. You’ll eventually get confident enough to hit 12 to 15 ascended in a run... just did 14 on my recent eden. Light is your sword and shield the more you have the farther and faster you can turn them into the statues and as you continue to attempt this you learn the placements of each statue.
Timing is often the biggest factor for your krill and your wind and rocks
Don’t be afraid to do small jump taps either to push it to that corner or wall, yes sometimes you can get lifted up or make a mistake but get confident with run hopping in eden and you master it.
I actually found that aiming the camera to the side while tapping oneself every now and again as tsu stated above can make that red rock wind blast a little less effective at knocking you over also but ya that’s just me and you may feel more comfortable with just booking it to the eye.

Every week during that time, eden resets, meaning all 64 statues will reappear again
The statues that you collected before the reset happens will disappear, leaving only the uncollected ones. Which means every week, there's a max number of statues you can save, and ascended candles you can collect, 64 statue for 16 candles. 4 for 1
