After ascending a dozen or so spirits and collecting all stars you can do the occasional rain part with no lost stars if you do it carefully, then the constant rain part is just running straight from child to child

And you should cover all, except maybe 2 or 3 shrines at the very end (or off to the sides if you choose to mostly go straight ahead)

I think there’s a bugged spot in the occasional rain where a patch of land, and only that patch of land has constant rain, but I was able to approach it from one side and light it with no losses

@broken delta I think the walls are fine because they can hint towards having more spirits you can unlock, my only issue is that the pray puzzle in Prairie doesn’t require you to have Pray

At some point it becomes constant and then it doesn’t change, but you start getting knocked down more often because there is no way to rekindle yourself, so each hit knocks you over and makes you lose stars, contributing to the annoyance

If you hot head it and run into too many rains, the occasional rain part will feel exactly like the constant rain part (at least it did for me)

Then I tried a cautious run, using every torch I could and I lost no stars except for that bugged patch

Does the diamond do anything?

The diamond isn’t something you can reach. It’s protected by a wind wall and shoves you backwards if you get too close.

It’s an illusion too. You think you’re just three steps away from it, and you take those three steps and it’s still three steps away.

Someone told me I could have more wings by giving the candles I found in Eden to the spirits... I tried and gave 2, but my lvl didn’t change 😓

@lone jacinth you give all your wing upgrades to the statues in Eden. For each 4 you save, you’ll later be rewarded with Ascended Candles ||which you can use to unlock the cloudy part of Spirit constellation upgrade menus. Every one that you unlock later rewards you with a wing upgrade.||

I think it’s only 1 “light” per ascended candle you give. So if you gave one to upgrade the spirit, you will get less “lights” than you would if you used 3 or 5 to upgrade a spirit

Depending on the person some can lead you to the hiding spots

And you can probably light more torches in the last stage than you would alone

I prefer going with one other person as opposed to a group. Much easier that way and you can save your light for children with someone since they can relight you

You can skip the tower with the krill by flying up to the left. You land on the railing thing that leads you to the concrete pipe

And that children actually made through Eden and reached the diamond?

And thanks to that he is like "stuck" there, but he make us revive?

If you interpret “Eye” to be eye of the storm, then it is calm when we’re in the center.

Perhaps the diamond is simply light, and only light can go within it, which is why we have to die (or “die”) in order to reach it.

You’ll have to be real careful with saving wings when you still have coverage I guess. On my second run, I went into the continuous rain part with over 60 wings and almost had time to go to the end and come back haha

Yeah, I think some of it is just luck of the draw. There have been times when I had more than enough wings to complete my run, and other times where I would lose so many wings in the perma rain

Like one time I got knocked down so much I think I went through 30 wings on just the last 3 statues

@hollow wren hey! So the statues refresh on sundays at 12am pst. And the max number of wing wedges you can currently get is 9. The max number of stars/winged light you can get is 108. And you’re totally correct- you get them by spending storm candles and ascending spirits!

hmmm back when i was broke on stars (didn’t know many of the secret locations and ended up going in with like 40 stars) i would save all my stars for the continuous rain part (basically ignore everything in the first part) because they’d be easier to get to on my second run

You will run out of hearts, yes. So it’s better to establish some close friendships with other players and exchange with them regularly.

The top thing there is a “no-face” mask, the bottom is a randomised spell for one time use.

Also, the wiki linked above is really good for info on most things in the game. Lots of players trying to keep it up to date as the game changes also.

@gray geode the first area ends after the first star. from then on (the two shrine gate all the way to the tunnel full of stars) is the second area. you can warp freely anywhere here to escape from krills. for the third area (rock rain), you can warp, but if your friend’s flame is out (they no longer have their cosmetics visible) you can’t warp to them. it helps when you’re warping from shrine to shrine to regain light

I think it can help to have some one who knows the area well, so you can move with them if you’re unsure

but again depends on the friends and your personal preference

Level 2 adds a particle effect, level 3 is an alternate version (added movements or a different pose altogether that conveys the same emotion) and level 4 adds particle effects to level 3

Like level 2 butterfly adds a white circle on the butterfly, level 3 makes you do a spin before striking the same pose and level 4 adds a purple circle on the butterfly with level 3 animation

Level 2 meditate ||adds 3 white concentric rings around you||, level 3 makes you ||float on an invisible cloud||, level 4 ||adds a cloud underneath you||
