On the Eden flight - after grabbing wax from bumping into the constellation spirits, there’s something else I was bumping into that was giving wax, but I couldn’t figure out what it was - anyone know what you’re supposed to be aiming for on that part??

Apart from the spirits, you get light also from bumping into the blue spirit orb thingies, and also from the friends flying in chains as you pass them towards the end.

Try to follow the chart that’s pinned here. It shows you where the statues are and the torches

Otherwise it’s just strategically figuring out how to maneuver the zones with the least rock hits ... bc when u get hit by rocks you lose up to 6 a time

That’s a very bright gate...
A friend guided me trough eden for the first time, In the end I lost a lot of wing to the red stuff.. ended up with 7 1/2 ascended candles.

Then later that day I heard that song that goes
“I’ll be with you, I’ll be waiting for you
On the other side, on the other side
And the winds that blow they guide you home
Get you trough the night, get you trough the night..”

And it fits this whole eden experience so well..

@burnt terrace you have to collect all the spirits and purchase all the items from each of the spirits in a constellation, then when you rebirth to collect your candles at the end you can talk to the elder of that constellation. The first one is the fastest with only 3 spirits to max out for the old man.

@mild tiger for the first part of the rock rain, the rain is occasional and sometimes it stops. there will be shrines for you and of course it’s good to be patient, get back to full light and wait until just after the rock rain to give yourself the biggest chance. if you run out of light go BACK to the last shrine you lit to regain light, take it slow and calm. however in the continuous rock rain there’s really nothing to be done, just keep running and if you get hit, i’ve been told long call is good to get you back up on your feet asap. running is also faster than jumping because the wind pushes you back a bit. this is my knowledge, but feel free to correct me

You have to invest into the spirit to reach the perma wing buff so I would suggest trying to invest into different ones that you’re also interested in getting accessories from, and then leave the perma wings to be bought post eden.

I heard if you buy the perma wings from home you won’t get them until after your eden run. But if you buy it in that starry blue place after eden, you get it right away before you reborn

Has anyone else ever gotten turned backward by taking a screenshot of the wide-angle showing how many Fallen you've saved right before they ascend? Then when you wave to them first it whips you back around to face them 😂 I guess I should file it as a bug if it's happened to more people. I just think it's kind of funny, but it does definitely damper the experience somewhat.

@icy prism I would add, BTW, that Trey is discriminating with his fireworks. I've seen others' behavior with them that's why everyone hates them, and Trey is NOT like that. He rarely does it, and picks good places. He's not the type spamming it all the time, at all. It helps to die near each other.

Once you die and you’re in the area where you meet your twin soul, you can chirp to see if your friend is nearby (meeting their own twin soul). You fly up the stream of light, and then you might see your friend. You can hold hands at that point.

When you go to Storm you return the winged light you collected.
Once you ascend spirits they give you winged light. Then you recollect the others from the star children.
So when you return to Eden you have that much more winged light to return. (You still get to 0 but start with a higher number.)

@arctic saddle You get permanent winged light buffs for every spirit you ascend. To ascend a spirit, you have to use the storm candles to unlock the next tier of their emotes/cosmetics/spells/etc.

I’d suggest ascending spirits before leaving orbit, so that you get the buffs ASAP. If you wait until you’re back home, then you won’t get the buffs until you complete eden again and walk down the starry path towards rebirth.

the best hiding spots are on the left side

#

after you've hidden behind the step construction on the right side, make your way either to the wedge that juts out above it or even further to the left behind a rock

#

then only move once the krill has passed from the left to the right AND the wind has stopped

#

it may take a bit of waiting to time it right

#

it appears that closer to the tunnel you will not be hit by the stones, but the krill may still be able to spot you and even attack at the very opening of the tunnel

was that prompt in the beta? bc going thru that the first time was actually very confusing since it’s not implied in any way that you should fly up, my first eden run i was running around that room for a few minutes before trying to fly ghskfjs maybe they should add the prompt or some kind of prompt back 🤔 since i think a lot of first timers get confused there

@icy prism You can leave Eden at any point and return normally until you leave the tunnel and enter the final area where the red rocks fall. I wouldn’t advise leaving during the segment with three dragons since you might spawn into their light upon returning.

@topaz raven I did my 2nd run today and only saw statues that can be activated. Was tough because I gave up like 50 stars during the first run, so all activable statues were in the stone showed area 😦
