@thorny wyvern Once you enter the 3rd section of Eden, you enter something called "Storm Lock" or "Eden Lock" where all the portals at home become disabled until you finish Eden. Basically, you're in storm lock once you leave that tunnel with all the winged light children.

There are a few leftovers, like the secret door at the ice rink that goes nowhere.
And if you go into the prairie caves, get on top, then run down the back of the mountain you can go off the edge of the map and find a bunch of pillars just hangin out. Like someone was clicking around in the level editor and accidentally placed them.

It will definitely spot you, but if you're fast, you can get in the tunnel before it whammies you

Go up the steps and hide under the metal platform on the stairs, wait until the blue light passes over you. It will look like you’re about to get caught but he won’t see you. Once his light passes you can easily walk up the rest of the way

I went yesterday with four other people. We all sort of teamed up at the entrance and kept waiting for each other at stopping points since there were two people I couldn’t hold hands with. It was so awesome that everyone stuck together even when one of us fell behind. Only three of us made it into Orbit together though. Still, it was one of the best trips with complete strangers I’ve had.

On the right in front of the ruins there are crumbled pillars you can hide behind that are just out of reach of the search light. You can wait there and time your run after the krill passes. Some of my friends rush up the left hand side. Once you’re about halfway up the rocks don’t seem to be able to hit you.

Those are permanent wing buffs that will give you more cape every time you are reborn at the end of Eden.

Tip: you can buy them right in Eden on the constellation stone. That way you get them immediately.

A run is "good" based on your own track record. If a first-time player in Eden gets 3-4 candles, that's good! They can still unlocked some wing buffs for the next time around. If someone has never gotten 6 or 7 candles before and they get that many in a run, that's a good run!

It's hard to get a screenshot, but there's a set of elder graves just like the one at the top of the Vault which if you force the camera toward them are visible just as you're leaving the bottom part of Eden headed toward the crown. That IMO can be construed as an indication that my theory of an end-game involving Elders and breaking the cycle of miserable reincarnation may have merit!

And yeah it gets way faster.
@rustic root one thing to note: the statues in Eye of Eden reset once a week.
Meaning, once you put a star in most/all of them, there's no point in going back until they reset.
(Which is some time Saturday I believe.)
So, spend that time helping other people out instead, it is fulfilling and people often give you hearts :).

Hmm...I wonder if that bolsters my theory that end-game was kept out of the beta deliberately as an anti-spoiler measure... 🤔 I like to think of it in a hopeful light that it's the key to proving that the game isn't about getting us to accept a fate of endless sorrow, though it definitely is sad that the Elders have to wait around like that for so long to help accomplish it. @cinder edge Yeah, I saw it a week or two ago but didn't even quite realize what it is, and only last night finally recognized its likely significance—at least, in my mind, right now. I also notice that control is given back to the player as you pass the top tower of Eden's broken crown, which tells me that end-game may involve some kind of interaction with it ^_^

No, wing buffs are permanent in the sense that rebirths will always start you with them, but during a "life" you can lose them all just as always.
Otherwise you'd basically be invincible.

@bright copper Absolutely I have. I presumed it was just for later. The fact that it's in the Vault's final cutscene as the final constellation that becomes the glyph of Eden's crown tells me it's end-game, since it's blank right now in Orbit. In Home that constellation is where favorited friends go; the fact that it's still blank in Orbit is very interesting...

I'll have to try that; although, I did just complete my 1st full-clear of Eden hopping like a madman 😂
Also, I managed to get a shot of my own on those Elder graves up right before the crown.
Another thing: I went ahead and accepted some rando's invitation to hold hands, then a 3rd person joined, and I noticed that as we approached the final white core of the galaxy or whatever, we got way closer than I ever have by myself. Usually it fades out to white when the rays are still almost completely covering it, but this time almost the whole screen was just the core ball with no more rays passing in front of it. Could it be that there's a different thing that happens if you come with 8 players all in a line holding hands...?
Which leads me to another question: what if the friend constellation in Eden can only be filled by friends who have all Elders fully unlocked, and those 8 graves just before orbit are for you?
One last thing was: this time right after dying it showed me what was a kind of a replay of part of a run, maybe because this was my first time freeing all 64 Fallen, (complete with pantomime freeing of Fallen that weren't visible but might have been in spots I already cleared) and a blue spirit was following close behind. I notice it always stops you in Eden when you have 2 spirits left, not 0, so it would be you and whatever this other one following by was.
Something else interesting to note is that the crown constellation has 13 spots, not 8.
