Non seasonal — Harp, Piano, Drum, Bass Harp, Horn
Seasonal — Small bell, Large bell, Xylophone, Flute, Winter Piano, Mandolin/Ukulele, Guitar, Panpipes, Handpan (One of the ultimate rewards this season)

blessing — 1 candle
heart — 3 candles
_wing buff _ — 2 Acended candles (which can only be obtainable by going through eden and ||dying||)
Level 3 cheer — 4 candles
Upgraded blessing — 5 candles

Piano — 10 hearts!

in home space ( c major ) it would be c d e f g etc. the symbol with both diamond and circle means the tonic note again, just an octave higher

there are no accidentals sadly. you need to move to different parts of the game to get different keys

I read actual sheet music so I use that, but if you don't read actual sheet music, I feel like it's kinda trial and error to find out which notes to play for the song you want

You can also follow others' sky music tutorials etc., do a search in this channel with your song and see if you can find any other demonstrations

eventually you will figure out which chords sound nice together and after practice, piece together a nice-sounding cover!

there's a lot of different methods to learning a song, i think. one of which being able to read actual sheet music. (some people also just learn to play by ear)
as k1ra said, theres also a TON of other videos of people playing songs in this channel. A lot of them show their notes while they play as well, so it's definitely a viable way to learn.
ofc, there are also community-made sheet musics specifically in the sky format: theres a library of them in the pins. (the pins have a lot of sky-music resources in them actually! be sure to check those out)

personally, I learned songs through watching piano synesthesia covers on youtube and transposing the melody notes into sky's keyboard, though that may not be a good method for everyone. It's just easier for me to have a visual of the notes rather than learning from video recording.

Is there a formal way to write charts? For my own charting, I've been using position. For instance, on the piano, there are three rows, which I label A, B, and C, and there are five columns I number 1-5. So my charts end up looking like I'm playing a game of Battleship.

Then I use [square brackets] for arpeggio and {curly brackets} for whenever notes are played together.

For instance, this is the first verse of Everything's Alright from the game To The Moon as I've charted it:

i would add it back but all current saved songs are already in one format so it would be a mess to change it back

the key that your instrument is played in always matches the background music, if the music stops/there is no music it will stay in the key that it was in before. usually going home plays a small piece that’s in c major which cancels out whatever key you were previously in, but sometimes said piece doesn’t play (idk why, probably a bug) so it stays in the key you were in before. so today i guess the bgm played 😌

+Added multi instrument composition/layers.

With the multi layer you can either use the same instrument just to emphasize which is the main track and which is the secondary, you can also use multiple instruments at the same time, the video shows an example of the xylophone and drums being used together, this can be useful for duets compositions.
The sheet can then be either saved into a single sheet or split in two
