do you guys think there are any more speed-readable methods of writing chords instead of like [a2 a5 b5] or similar? i guess this is mainly for my own benefit and not to trouble anyone who writes music because the popular chord notation is easy to write and versatile

for a couple pieces ive rewritten chords like this because its easier for me but that causes the problem of having to scroll down in longer pieces

@cobalt lagoon Ping gets in the way if you’re playing a cover, but if two or more people play the same song sheet from the game, it syncs up. One person starts playing the song sheet, and then the others can tap on the sheet icon that appears above them to join in.

@steep schooner Yeah, a few people have made song charts with the more visual layout like that, but you run into the problem you mentioned of how much space it takes up. Some people will color code the notes so that A, B, and C rows are separate colors, which can help.

@iron pulsar I never learned how to play guitar, so tabs is a language I can't speak or post in, personally ^^. But I don't know how using real note and chord names would work considering that the same button plays different notes depending on the level you're in.

Yeah it works well for my brain but people didn't seem to like it haha

Basically I just laid out the three rows (like strings on a tab) and treated each note as a "fret" and numbered them as such... It's a nice mix of compact and visual which helps me sight read

Personally I think if there are a couple different systems, that will make it accessible to more people. When I write sheet music I always use ABC notation, but it's not always the most intuitive when you're trying to translate it to actual chords on the keyboard.

Harvest for candles everyday if you can not exchange with friends. Look for the area that has the extra candles (when you see the big clusters of them in certain areas.)
Or places like the rain forest and golden wasteland typically have a lot of areas to receive wax for candles

@silent basalt At Home, the notes of the bells are CDGAx2. The bass instrument actually has the same notes as other melodic instruments, only lower and somewhat off-key.

when i was trying to play in the temple in the vid, it took at least half an hour to get just 40 seconds of silence without new skykids spam calling or running around me

It'd be super cool if there was a place in sky where you could go to play where you can change the key as much as you want while playing a song. It would really help with songs where there's a key change in the middle. Or maybe if there was a way to upgrade your instrument to have sharps and flats.
