2. Use long routes rather than going straight for the next location due to it being safer and you having more than enough time.

The only spot you really have to worry about is the last leg. Never have managed to avoid the krill there, in beta or live. Always got smacked. I lost several stars getting the emote but at least I got it on the first try.
A mooch was waiting on me too. I’d called repeatedly during the trial and saw them in the distance. Took the emote after I did all the work. 😡

Tips if you want to go alone:
1 Don't call the crabs
2 Move quickly when the krill aren't around
3 be patient when they are. You have about twice as much time as you strictly need, so use that time waiting for the krill to pass
4 Don't let the spirit sit in water, it will lose energy very quickly. Better to risk a krill hit than to abandon the spirit for more than a few seconds
5 Listen carefully for where the krill are. Headphones will help you

@paper sun Try sitting in the Home constellation for a few minutes. Other players needing recharge spawn in there frequently.

Honestly, I kinda wish they’d fix all the ways you can cancel or negate krill attacks.. krill are a joke once you know these tricks

Maybe I’ll write a bug report about it.. xD then again.. there are probably many players that utterly rely on these tricks to get trough wasteland at all.

Even if you hadn’t, I don’t think we would’ve lost much light. Having you lure them away was a good method and there are still lots of hiding spots around meaning it could very well be done without using the tricks
