On Wednesday as some people know the quest giver disappeared, making several unable to collect their rewards - I contacted support and let them know about it, and they decided to manually add the missed seasonal candles to my account

They didn’t say anything about extending the event duration, so I don’t know anything about that 🤔

You can kite it through the tunnel and you stun the two crabs and then when you get outside the tunnel you have to run over to the frozen spirit before the flame dies? Can you do it alone or do you need help from another person?

@cloud jasper Thank you. It’s just hard to do that last bit, especially if you’re with another player who just stands there in the light doesn’t move forward. How do you race over to that last bit without losing the light?

Ohhhh you’re with someone who’s not moving with you?

I don’t have the route for that one committed to memory, but, if you’re not with someone who’s holding it back, keep an eye out for ledges and overhangs that provide shelter from the rain. IIRC that’s one of them where it’s better to not go in a straight line because of the rain.

It seems like the problem is once you get to the end of the tunnel where you’re at a straight line of sight to the last destination, (where the spirit is crumpled up and waiting for you to light it,)you can’t run fast enough while still carrying the spirit in the time allotted to get to the crumpled over spirit to ignite it. Does that make sense?

It’s the one inside the tunnel where you have to bring it over to the side of the tunnel where there is those two crabs, and then you have to carry it back out of the tunnel. Once you get to the exit of the tunnel it seems like a pretty straight shot over to where you have to turn it in, but the problem is the spirit moves slower than the time you have to run from the mouth of the tunnel to the last checkpoint.

@prisma shuttle Yeah, I see what you mean. I thought that you could use the glowing fungus to shield it from the rain at parts.

Problem is you literally have like five seconds from the mouth of the tunnel to the point where you have to turn it in and carrying the flame slows your movement speed.

I’m just wondering if there’s some trick to it or if I’m doing it wrong or what. Thank you.

how do you get the spirit in golden wasteland across the water and onto the platform at the top right corner (assuming the area entrance is bottom and exit is top)?

@rigid forge That spirit is probably the hardest one. I had so much trouble doing it in beta, and only got it because of a bug that no longer exists. I find it's easiest to do alone, and in live what I did was watch for safe spots and keep out of the krill's sight. There's no time limit if you stay with the spirit, so it's just a matter of staying safely hidden.

you can't get the spirit across the distance by air though, it moves too slowly

To answer your specific question, ||I think I moved the spirit up to the "top" out of the krill's circle and then brought it back down to the platform from that direction.||

Yes, not by air. I don't think I flew the whole time, although there's a chance I flew straight up once at one point. (I seem to recall trying that anyway.)

Another idea that may help is that ||there is a path to walk under the "bridge" from the middle to the "top", sort of between that platform and the large, broken, golden circle on the left. That may help at one point too, but I forget the exact path of the waypoints.||

For any speedrunners out there: if you want to skip falling into sand when entering wasteland, use a big call when approaching sand. This way you can also start flying mid fall and get that winged light on huge blocks without having to jump through them all

I'm able to interrupt the fall with normal wing-flaps, which might be easier to pull off since there's not as much delay as a deep call. Seems to work best waiting a tad and aiming slightly left during the first shot of falling. I just posted screens to #questions-and-help.

I want to see a “party” mechanic (maybe up to 8 or idk however many people we can hold hands with). Where you and your friends can be in control of your own characters but still be in the same instances as each other. Like it’ll prioritize you guys being in the same server or something.

Because I adore holding hands. But holding hands is not a way to “play with friends.” It’s a way for one person to drag their friend around and the other person to just get dragged.

The warping out of servers with friends is a pretty consistent problem imo that I think enough people have that they are probably looking into it.
