Tbh, I did not understand the necessity of the beta patch at all.

It felt much more urgent to fix the Live version, but I know from the past that beta always tests everything before it gets pushed to Live.

It's just that there is no seasonal event in beta...

it's not just the seasonal spirit that is missing, the bug affects a lot of spirits in the world
they need to test it before live to make sure there are no game-breaking bugs
would be crazy to release it to live just because it's a seasonal matter too without testing first

one way of easing up on the heavy workload is to play in sessions throughout the day. Maybe once in the morning for seasonal quests and then once in the afternoon/evening for other stuff.

But remember that the season will also end, and then everything will go back to regular candle farming.

yesterday, after the seasonal quests reset, the Locational Seasonal Candle Clusters remained in Valley/Ice Rink, they did not move to Wasteland, unlike the Quests did

and today, the quests moved to Vault

and the Location candle clusters moved to wasteland

so it looked like the Locational candles were a day behind the questing location

earlier today, you had to do all the quests in Vault, but had to get the 4 clusters for 1 seasonal candle in Wasteland

but, they posted an update later on the day today, which moved the Locational candles back to its normal cycle; same area as the quests
