Seasons have not much to do with regular candles in my opinion.

It's definitely possible to acquire candles with even the slightest selective buying because you won't use all cosmetics anyway.

These days I buy out everything even if I don't want them and I have thousands of candles.

Well, it depends I suppose. For me, I've been playing since season of enchantment, have gotten all season passes since then except like 2, so I already have many season cosmetics, and I used to cr like crazyyy everyday so now I'm sitting on 2k+ candles. I have never bought regular candle packs. I still cr because I like it and I get to help my friends collect more candles too
If I'd started playing in a recent season I wouldn't be able to sit on a high amount of candles like that I think

The Nesting counter really took most of my candles and disrupted my candle spending pattern, now i have under 5 candles and 0 hearts after every ts visit

It definitely does. At that point once you have most of the TS’s, you spend your candles buying out the base constellations, and the older event items that aren’t tickets.
It took between 18 months to a bit under 2 years for me to hit that point, where I only do a reduced/basic candle run to collect 10-15 candles a day and it’ll still slowly accumulate my stash.
The only big expenditure so far this year for me has been the nesting furniture which I’m pretty sure cost around 1,000 candles all up, and I still have more candles left than what I can use. Normally I give away my excess by offering friends free heart gifting for a month per person so they can build up their heart stash for their event item purchases that are upcoming.
Having said that, I’m mostly in this position because of when they introduced group spirit special visits of 3-5/6 spirits at a time; that radically tapered off soon after it was introduced and has been way more sporadic since. But basically, you’ll probably hit this point sooner than you expect if you keep going (provided you’re getting 17-20 candles a day), provided that the group spirit visits become a bit more even

I have been holding hands with a friend on blue team in rain race on the first day, when I didn't know that this was frowned upon yet. All three of us got gold, with timestamps of very slight variations. If I recall correctly, my friend who was in the lead got the fastest time, so yes, I think the leader will win.

Heres a useful function for tournament torch.
It doesnt (or atleast didn't when i tried) extinguish when youre hit by a krill

I found that if the torch is in my hand, when I run, it gets swinged up and down. So if I run across a candle, it does light it up. Also, if the torch is in your hand and you are not to tall, you can immediatelly light up candle cakes with it.

From my experimentation, in order to stop Grandma´s buns from ascending (majorly), you positively MUST BE INSIDE A SHARED SPACE as soon as she starts handing them out! The props inside the Shared Space will keep them down and burn them into wax!

Ok I am losing my sanity.
4 days ago. I swear I had 107 seasonal candles and less than 18 event tickets left to collect from the limited capacity for racing.
Yesterday. I have 97 candles and suddenly my event has 25 tickets to get.
I thought I’d seen it happen once but now I’m going crazy. The only thing happening is me switching from my phone to my switch (days apart depending on which is better to use at the time)
Is there a refill on tickets in the event? (I will get screenshots and submit a bug report but I need to tell someone before I lose it)

Hahaha there is indeed a phase 2 where the tickets reset. I think it has happened today?
