I genuinely think this one sounds better, and as a significant bonus when you hold down the button and keep it there, it extends the note - the same way the violin and saxophone do, which is rare for an instrument and gives you a lot more artistic expression opportunities. It also sounds better even if you’re not perfectly on time, which makes it friendlier to beginners or folks who don’t usually dabble much with the music feature; it’s a really good entry point
Usually we only get things like that on IAPs, and this is one of the ones that isn’t an IAP. Not every instrument is beginner friendly. It’s up to you and how much you value music but I think this and the current items in the season pass give newer players a nice few base instrument options when combined for getting started to explore with that also actually sound good

this is not a good representation because A) not every player has discord or is in this discord server B) not every player checks and responds. TGC says the players are evenly distributed in the game, but they can't control which players are most active or have the most time to do the tournament. Forest probably just has more active players than the other teams.

It mostly comes down to, a majority of the playerbase likes Forest and chances are anyone put into the other 3 teams are disappointed with their assigned team, not being the one they wanted, there can also be private discords/friend groups and such that's very into getting their team to compete for golds but unfortunately I think a lot comes to the first point and there's definitely a majority who don't care about the event and only join a tournament game to get their Daily quest done

I know that's the only reason I participate. I play sky to avoid competitive games, but playing in the tournament is the only way to get tickets or to meet the seasonal challenge, so I do it begrudgingly. Hence, people like me meaning Prairie is dead last in the collection games. 😅

It definitely feels like all these numbers we're seeing reflect the realm's popularity. For example, I know a decent amount of people picked the mischief role they wanted instead of their actually in-game team.
I think if all the teams were swapped colors/realms from the start, forest would still end up winning due to people wanting to actually participate for their preferred team.

i do hard turns on PC by right clicking, which changes my flight type to hover, then change direction and right click again to go back in to glide, with a little space bar flap to get back that momentum. Makes for a fun little flip animation sometimes and a very quick turn. Regular golds. Go blue!

im glad that golds are a threshhold, not a competition with other players. I just do it to see if I can beat my own score. I don't even consider the competition aspect, as it is Sky, and too cozy for me to actually wanna compete 😄

It's a really cool concept and works well with the actual Olympic theme, but yeah Forest has dominated since day one lol I get the demotivation. I try and do all the games, but often end up just with one other player so even if I win I don't get the gold. And then it's rough trying to get a bronze medal in a packed server just for one point

honestly its my favorite one so far i think the minigames are far more fun than any of the other events which have kinda often ended up as "log in. grab tickets. leave" and i even get a free daily quest out of it. Its just kinda a shame there aren't many event items in it, and the hairstyle isn't something i'd use.
I've already gotten the torch, so anything after that is just me fooling around seeing what are the best scores/times i can get.

I really hope the concept comes back another time with different types of games & all the issues fixed. I’d really enjoy it more a second time around even if the teams were based on season guides or something, even if team selection was randomised; I’d prefer to be able to opt into competing. I’m having trouble enjoying it as is; the lack of competition & lead is really ruining the fun.
It would also be nice to be able to spectate & cheer my friends without needing to enter and take up a place

If you mean the first part of Eden, if you pick it up, then go to the next area before it gets to you, then it won't register

so i've discovered something while playing wingsuiting.

apparently, i was supposed to get a gold medal, cuz idk what happened with the other racers but i guess they touched ground or something cuz the game awarded me with the gold medal spell before i reached the finished line, only for it to be taken away because one of them left midrace. so now i have the silver medal, but because the game also recognized by technicality that i should be gold, they still have me 3pts. 🤔
