These hints are mostly for entertainment so you can interpret them in many different ways

Red shard at Statues of Sanctuary, is pretty hard, yes. But with patience and team work it can be done. I just finished with 2 strangers and none of us lost any WL (fortunately). But we did it taking some time to avoid and or lure the shard crabs away as much as we could.

Yeah I had my torch with me. I never would have survived without it! Even still, the crabs kept swarming me so it was a challenge to recharge. I think this was my toughest shard event yet tbh

Fast recharging other people (particularly mega-honking) is risky. With the amount of crabs present, there would be a high chance of loosing probably more than what you recharged

I recommend having a spot to recharge. (NOT in the middle of the shard, that is a bad idea since crabs can make the recharge prop disappear and have a longer slowmode to place it back out) Should be around hill-y places (but not too far away from the shard) because crabs have a hard time getting through hill-y areas.

Yes, today was a very frustrating shard. I spent more time rescuing people than actually burning darkness. I'd help someone up, and then someone would deep honk and they'd immediately get hit again and then I'd have to go recharge because I got hit helping them. Rinse and repeat for 10 or 15 minutes.

I do have one concern about it, though... It's taking place in a main area of the game, and it's appearing to use the large "server meet", like Aurora and Bloom did. I fear that this season will copy how Aurora worked, and a large portion of this season will be locked behind a vanishing IAP once it ends, effectively making it impossible for future Skykids to experience Passage as a whole.

I really hope that won't be the case, but my pessimistic mind is telling me it will be. The similarities are there, and it would be so easy for them to do it.

Don't worry it's not the case at all, since it's not a collaboration season. Only collab seasons have IAPs (which is requested by third party for example as was with Aurora management to make the season equally beneficial for them)

I feel like to see just how unreasonable prices are getting, you gotta look at candle costs. If you were to buy candles in order to afford the new cape (180 candles), you’d have to buy the pack that’s $50. That’s… completely unreasonable.
I get that you can just grind for candles but, if you’re comparing what this game considers candles worth in dollars, this cape is apparently worth fifty dollars.

Although I understand why they're preventing shared memories/messages/etc near social light areas (console players united in suffering with button prompt priority 😔), I don't think I've ever had an issue with them during a shard event. That’s an interesting way of viewing it. and I do think the cape is rather pricey, but If I may offer another point of view, the event will go on for 21 days— if one CR 15 candles daily (about 50 minutes), one can get 315 candles, more than enough to get the thing. The devs mentioned with IGC pricing, they aim for players to log in and participate in gameplay for more than half of the event (you can read it here if you want http://bit.ly/SkyEconomy_Disc).

• Avatar able to move while forging Candles or Hearts
• Player won't be damaged by rain if they are in a cutscene or otherwise not in control of the camera

I’ve read through them, and while I’m happy that certain things like: Shared Memories and Shared Spaces cannot be placed near Geyser, I am NOT happy by the fact that you can no longer place Shared Memories near Shards

They were pretty useful in Shard Events, though I might test something when it comes out

This bug has been darn near infuriating. It crops up at the worst times, and never likes to go away, no matter what I do.

This is honestly one I'm disappointed in. Shared spaces were useful there, and I never had issues with them cluttering everything up. It was the prompt to join other players IN shared spaces that annoyed me to no end. On console, the game prioritized them over EVERYTHING ELSE, making me despise seeing people in shared spaces. It wasn't the spaces themselves I had issues with.

Ikr, that was literally the most ANNOYING THING EVER. I hated having to run around unable to burn stuff at Geyser cuz people were in those stupid Shared Spaces and that prompt to join them was all I could select

I got to the point where I would have to open my expression menu and manually use my candle if there was more than one person in them. Even then, that didn't work all the time, because sometimes my Skykid would just stand there, blankly staring at the darkness orb at their feet...

It couldn't have been too hard to make the prompt behave like all the others, could it? It would have been a better, more agreeable, player friendly solution.

I suggested that in feedback when the solution was first proposed a while ago. One voice definitely wasn't enough to turn the tide, though.
