Hi guys, I kinda don’t understand how tho get auroras orange wings? I heard/read someone say that after the concert we can buy it for 200 candles? But then I saw that it actually costs money to get them? Which one is right ?

They are an IAP (so they cost real money) and you can buy them from one of the mannequins in the concert nighttime coliseum. The Cure for Me pants (green ones) cost 200 candles and can be bought from Aurora after you've completed all the season quests.

you know that grassy slope on the right side of the cave? Climb up it and go all the way to the back, and you'll see a tunnel. Go in, and inside is the hideout.

It's a bit of an iffy one, it's not meant to be available yet, but it has been since DoF started, presumably a bug because you can't gift it to anyone. Several people bought it without issues but we're still sort of discouraging it because well.. you're buying something that's not meant to be available so it's a bit risky. Up to you tho

The igloo may open up tomorrow along with the iaps incase you're wanting to buy them and can wait

honestly if it was broken there wouldve been an outcry, it wouldve been fixed by now anyway so its definitely safe to buy it
the reason why its "hidden" is because like last year days of feast has multiple phases and we havent gotten to the next phase yet for the igloo to open up to buy it, im pretty sure it was like this last year too (thoguh my memory is horrible so feel free to correct me)

not every single player on sky is on the discord so I wouldn't measure the safety of something by "well nobody complained about it here yet". there's been plenty of outcries on issues that nobody spoke about on discord. And it would suck to tell someone it's safe and that person be the only one you witness it not working for. wind paths bug isn't hitting everyone who goes into the wind paths but it's still a problem. we'll get it properly available in a few days most likely. there will be plenty of time to get them between it's proper opening and end of days of feast

Adding to this: last time a IAP being available when it wasn't intended, a lot of people ended up without the item at all.
Ocean cape was bugged after Days of Nature event ended, leaving the prompt of buying the item.

Those who did lost their money, did not get the item and are locked out of ever getting it

If there is an outcry, it's being drowned out with a "you shouldn't have done that, it's not TGC fault they a small indie team"

warrior of love? it's not an area normally accessible in the game. its architectural inspiration from isle and valley with pink clouds like in the flying race. I did check back over my footage to be sure. it doesn't look exactly like any of the OOBs I've eben in either so it was probably designed for the voyage specifically with inspiration being pulled mostly from valley

it's probably, lore-wise, an area of valley that we just dont have access to. that or devs didn't think we would question where it was. "through the eyes of a child" also has an area of wasteland that's probably inaccessible too in the far reaches of the sand dunes

the story is that eden mountain erupted and shards from the mountain fell in the realms. there's black ones that give you normal candles and varying intensities of red ones that will give you ascended candles (anywhere from 2 to 3.5 ac). the variation is "random" every day but some of the players here have gotten really good at predicting the patterns so you can always find someone who knows the times they'll fall and what type of shard it is that day. we have a red one today in jellyfish cove and iirc the next one falls in a little over 1.5 hours

ChristianKingFu#8986 and Clement#8978 are usually both very good about posting shard info here if you ever need help finding this info you can search their messages and the keyword "shard" using discord's search bar

oh I forgot to mention: the crabs around the red shards that have red crystals growing on them cannot be flipped and deep calling will just make them extra angry so don't deep call around the corrupted crabs because they will bonk you harder and more frequently if you do

Is there any sort of average time it takes to complete a shard? Like I know they have like 4 hour durations, but I'm assuming you don't need to be there for the full 4 hours?

It doesn't take that long to complete them. Just burn the darkness that shows up, and then collect some memory fragments.

the flag used to show you a final cutscene when you completed 100% of the season but when enchantment came they changed the format so free to play players could still see the final cutscenes by way of seasonal story quests. rhythm was the only one I watched in game and the troupe waved goodbye to you as they flew off on a bird boat. it was super emotional but pretty upsetting when I found out free to play players didn't get to see it too so I'm glad they formatted it that the stories are available to everyone regardless of owning a pass

my old route before the wind paths bug was always forest --> valley slide race --> village --> hermit --> wind paths --> sanctuary, but now I have amended it to: forest --> slide --> village --> hermit --> hermit race back down --> harmony hall music sheet challenge --> flying race via flying up tunnel to valley social from village. if you get at least one granny, that's more than 15 candles. but of course, the absolute fastest way is probably learning how to do trials rlly rlly fast (either legit or with glitches). valley candle run is the most profitable, though sanctuary is the best single area - especially if you catch sunset

That timer is only for the current active season, all quest givers state it which is definitely misleading, but all of them stay

the shattering shard isn't really still here anywhere but inside the memories so you have to do a shard to access them. and the first 4 seasons ran a different format so those guides didn't stay. gratitude and lightseekers guides came back for events briefly. and belonging guide can be visited during the feast wax event in sunny forest though. poor rhythm moths who only get their guide in a 2 second cutscene from performance

I feel like I've been working hard this season and I'm still not going to get the seasonal candles I need to finish the event. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a way to get seasonal candles by listening to the full concert or something? I subscribed and got the 30 candle bonus, and did the daily quests (except for some requiring friends when I couldn't find one. But I'm showing to be about 10 seasonal candles short when time runs out. Never happened to me before.

I think pre-Shattering or pre-Performance is the time where I would always jump down from the Eden entrance, jumping down to the Vault Portal, then jumping from one portal to another

i discovered starting the aurora quest in underground forest the jellies take you to some of the wax spots so if you're fast and they're already burnt when you arrive you can now candle run down there completely capeless and fairly quickly without a prop for climbing

climbing the initial jellies takes some practice though since it requires a specific flick/jump motion to hoist yourself up to the next one

the crawling is because you got hit by an arrow like the spirit who's memory youre reliving did. you should still have movement and camera control though so if you don't that's a bug

ypu might be able to unbreak the camera and motion control lock by doing it with a friend and grabbing them after cutscenes end. sometimes spamming emotes breaks a cam/motion lock too

i might try this, since i figured out how to do a sort-of "strafe" thingy during the valley races to get more fragments

the amount of fragments you collect actually doesn't affect how many candles you get! its based on your chevron level with daily light. (unless you meant that you just collect more fragments for fun ) is a bit tricky to climb the jellies fast enough but if you've got the flick/jump motion down you'll probably figure it out in a few tries

the concert was absolutely astounding, i was left speechless and with goosebumps the entire time. it's one of those things i wish i could experience for the first time all over again because oh my god
i watched it when it first played, and was there with almost 4,000 people, and i never felt so...connected? like i belonged? more than this concert
no other game experience will ever live up to this concert imo

I really like the idea of it being an online concert. I feel like online concerts are going to become a big thing in the future since it gives way more liberty of creation than live concerts. Who would have thought that you'd become a butterfly and rush through landscapes with the song ??? I'm glad sky is a pioneer in that field

i couldnt describe how i felt during the concert before but that pretty much sums it up, i felt the exact same way being among so many people all experiencing the same concert made me feel like i was a part of smth yknow i felt like we were all connected and it was very beautiful

They are definitely pricey. It kinda depends on how likely you want to attend the concert in the future. It's basically a reusable $25 concert ticket that let's you and your friends in.

The outfits are inspired in the ones used by Aurora (the singer) for different video-songs, and shows. I remember the ones available in the QG tree are the "Cure for me" pants and mask. Not sure the others have received a specific name.

Besides, of course, the relation to the name of the spirit that has the particular cosmetic.

I ADORED this season. Was going in hyped about the cosmetics and the concept of the quests, but the concert left my expectations in the dust, I was blown away by how COOL it was, both in composition and in scope

I honestly hated the concert until I got to watch it completely alone using playstations ability to turn cross patform play off. "hi 4 thousand skykids can you please spam this flashy call relentlessly for 5 solid minutes? thanks". unfun. I actually genuinely enjoyed it solo because I could watch without getting dizzy/sick

true. none of the iaps or cure outfit will return post-season. the aurora plush doll does have a star feature giving you the wings briefly and skyshop has had flash sales of return items. that one doesn't say it'll never come back at least so it's possible (though still unlikely)

founders cape into the office, two joycon capes into the nintendo playground, asteroid cape into the asteroid area, and now aurora wings into the concert venue
this is probably a trend well keep seeing because tgc is riding that FOMO wave pretty hardcore
