Full disclosure: I'm a long way from being an artist, and this is a mockup at the extreme basic level of combining screenshot assets and the magic wand tool for clipping.

however I think this sort of area would be pretty cool and a replacement for the OOB candle area currently past Valley's temple (old Wasteland Social) as a free flight area, where you go to collect fragments of light and race, perform flying tricks and have freedom to fly around a huge arena with a few gates dotted around to make flying interesting.

My thought is its like the races, there are fragments of light flying around to catch, but unlike the races, rather than having a finish line, when the last fragment is collected, a candle is awarded (like the manta call spirit in the citadel).

I didn't know if ||megabird|| should be spoilered as it contains major spoilers for it so I just spoilered the whole thing.
Well, here goes

||Beyond the pages of memory, before the passing of time, the Light and the Darkness emerged as great spirits among many in the infant world. As time passed, the greatest within formed the Order of authority with the most powerful; Light, at the helm of rule. For a time, all was well in the lands of the skies.

The ages turn, the mountains changed. It was on the day of the spark of life when the peace was broken in the lands of sky. The Light, a lover of life and creation, sought to create and spread the flame of life as far as sight while the Darkness sought to bring death as the balance knowing the result of innumerable life. Conflict became debate, debate became war. And so a battle ensued between the Light and the Dark. The Darkness with its mighty eye burst forth a powerful light, a light that split the mountains and hills into a vast gorge, a wound on the face of the land. But the Light proved too powerful, and so the Darkness was thrown in exile to the lands below.

The ages turn, the mountains change. In time the spirits all faded away like flowers in the autumn breeze, to leave Light and Darkness remained. The Light was adamant in her thought, determined in her task. And so one long day, she gave her flame of life and floated high up above the skies as a goddess and wheel of life’s circle of endless turn. The Darkness remained in the mortal world, but in the time of exile he rose in his power as God and equal to the Light above. One fuelled the spark of life while the other spread death as counter to the dangers of innumerable life. And so, the Light came to be known as Megabird today, while the Darkness was named Krillthulhu of the final sleep.||

Happy 14 years to TGC,,
I really can’t say how much I’ve changed from deciding to download this game. It sounds cheesy,, yea. But I don’t care about being cheesy, I’ve loved every single moment of playing, even the ones in Eden
I never really played Journey, though I’ve wanted to. But just from seeing pictures I know it’s just as well made as Sky, and I’m excited to try it out when I can.

I'm really grateful to Sky, since the game allowed me to give as many hugs as possible to my little sister when we were an entire country apart. I kind of commemorated the feeling with this painting 💕

this is for a steampunk season idea a group of people had a few days ago in the general channel.

i got unmotivated after designing the hats so the spirits, instruments and ultimate gift aren’t gonna be drawn.

i can tell you that the spirits would only be in valley and forest, 4 children and 2 adults. the ultimate gift was gonna be a music box and each spirit would have had an instrument (ocarina, trumpet, violin, harmonica, kalimba and saxophone)

i didn’t plan out any emotes for this steampunk season so it’s mostly up to the community for this one

@lavish spoke Thank you! I think for now, I’ll leave as it is. I will eventually, but right now I need to make sure it’s not brittle after putting it in the oven. I already put it in for a while, like maybe a half hour, and I’m gonna leave out till morning. I could still sorta bend some of the pieces, but maybe it’ll harden up overnight. I haven’t touched clay since I was in middle school, more than 10 years ago, so hopefully everything turns out fine.

This is Izuki.
She was abandoned by her sky mother and raised by krill. She has spent her whole life being trained by her adopted krill mother.
She doesn’t know of her past as a sky child, for she was very young when abandoned.
She has been trained since childhood to believe that sky children are trying to harm or kill her.
This drawing of her is her realizing that all the sky children she’s krilled we’re just interested in helping her.
