character concept: A travelling merchant who can only travel by foot bc he has no wings. He goes around in a wagon collecting items as he travels slowly from realm to realm. As he travels, he meets children and gifts them with a unique item to each.
His wife is a baker and the old traveller sells her food, hoping to spread the news of their family's bakery (as well as eats them himself). They have three children. The two oldest are twins (plot twist: twins of valley?), and the youngest, a son, who travels alongside the old traveller. He is very proud of all of his children.
Sometimes, he does favours for the elders, such as trading light across the realms, collect certain items from another realm, or just to ask his wife to give them her special chocolate chip cookies or her strawberyy shortcakes.

Now, he is alone with only his son. His elder friends have gone, his eldest children have disappeared, and his wife still waits at the bakery for both of them to come home.
