An old concept I never fully developped. The sea of solitude would consist of just a gigantic sea surface where you could drown (or maybe infested with water krills), with no candle posts and where only surfacing turtles would let you have a rest. You would be forced to recharge your cape with other people, but only while the turtles remain on the surface. The goal would be to go to some island or find some specific spot? Maybe you could also learn to ride a turtle for a while somehow. And also have crabs.

I don´t know if such an open setting would actually work or be interesting enough, so I stopped working on it.

PS: A "bring the light to this spot"seasonal sprite would be the definitive nightmare here 😆

I’d recommend to flip the drawing constantly while drawing. That way you’ll end up understanding how your brain works and reads the image. It usually tends to complete areas and straighten things that are not.

For example when you draw a circle the brain tends to complete it, but normally one side is always drawn better than the other one, the same way lines tend to lean to one side. You need to learn which is your weak side and consciously put more effort into it, straightening the lines on that side and completing the shapes.

So we all know one of the most boring places in Sky must be the hub in Valley of Triumph. The place is quite big but there´s usually noboy around. Well, I had this epiphany that the place could get a huge improvement by adding a cosmetic that would let you create The Giant Snowball of Doom that you could then throw down the slope and it would disintegrate in the ice rink area. It could be controlled by one or many people, function as a katamary wrecking havoc and suctioning players and even lead to a specific sprite if the team moving it manage to take it to a specific spot. Just saying.

P.S: And of course the valley of Triumph needs constant snowball fights.
