Asphalt 8 has had its ups and downs and recently a lot of the legacy cars or the OG cars have been removed, I see this is a very bad thing. There was no reason to remove them and I think as a community most of us can agree that we would like our legacy cars back.
me personally I think the only reason it was done is because Gameloft is just trying to milk more money out of the community by making them exclusively available in the shop and forcing you to buy it with real money if you want it that bad, I think that’s a very dirt move on their part.
Also, I remember in old multiplayer version we used to be able to vote on the amount of laps we want, what race mode we want, and what map we want, why was that removed? I know it’s been a while but I honestly think that should be added back it added a lot more fun to the game. now multiplayer just seems repetitive like nothing is ever new.
compared to old multiplayer it would always be something new because you could have different race modes, different a amount of laps, and just more fun overall, I have also noticed that Gameloft has been a little more generous about giving out boosters and cards and free upgrades, which I appreciate, but I honestly think that the legacy cars should be added back and we should get more features to multiplayer.
And I’ve never understood why Gameloft has kept it the same so many years, but you can only race with your friends over local Wi-Fi. If multiplayer is possible then you should be able to play with your friends online as well. Why does it only have to be local Wi-Fi ? I just see that as a wasted opportunity to make the game more fun So please if some moderators sees this please consider maybe contacting Gameloft if you’re in touch with them, consider these options.
