hi, im trying to run a sample code, but I keep getting timeout error
i cant find anyone else with this error too

only thing I can think would be poor internet. I have never seen this issue either. Can you try and run it in just windows to see if you get a different result?

it does work on windows.... but not in wsl, weird...

either its a bug or there is a problem with my wsl, though i was able to run discord.py on it with no problems

just a quick search, not sure if it will help, but seems others have issues with the networking of wsl https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/4901
