After what Vedal mentioned yesterday about not wanting to do another Subathon (he will) I would just like to bring up the idea that if the volume of money feels undeserved and unwarranted, consider making the subathons for charity
The subathon is peak, I think many will agree it pushes out a lot of good content at the end of the year, its around a time that alot of people will have time off work and ultimately it's basically become a staple in my opinion.
Subathon goals have created some extremely goated content aswell and I fear that without that sort of challenge/incentive to push out these new content ideas because a goal was hit or a goal needed to be created persay the content could become less fun. Not only that but I atleast love the sheer amount of Neuro/Evil with Vedal content we get from the Subathon.
So, why not turn what is something that everyone loves into something that could do even more good. Make the subathon a charity event, then there's no guilt about the amount of money gained and its all going to a good cause.
You could even really switch it to just being a charity stream marathon thing by rather than the twitch middle man cut people donate directly to the charity, (o7 hypetrain records tho)
I just really would say rather than stop doing the subathon entirely because its absurd or whatever, just change it to be for a good cause.
also yes I realise its only March but hey he mentioned it on stream.
(TDLR: if there's guilt about receiving so much money then donate to charity)
