#Neuro SDK integration for Rimworld pawn control

I started work on a Rimworld mod a while ago called PawnPy for controlling a pawn in real time with python. When I found out about Neuro about a year ago, I thought it would be awesome to allow for Neuro SDK integration directly, but got distracted with other projects and never ended up finishing even the original mod.

The whole project was petty poorly made on my part and probably needs to be reworked from the ground up. I’m working on a separate project right now, but I just wanted to gauge interest and see if there are any devs willing to work together on this.

Any other ideas for modifying the game other than pawn control for Neuro is also welcome. Depending on how many people want to help I can probably handle the visual side of things if new assets get involved, but other artists are also welcome to help.

I know Neuro played Rimworld once with Koko and it’d be super cool so see her integrated into the game more if Vedal ever wants to run it back. I can post an outline, but just know it’s not a small project. Thankfully Rimworld is very streamlined code-wise. It wouldn’t be a hard project to collaborate on.

All I ask is that you’re willing to work together and be an adult about it. Knowledge of Unity modding is going to help a lot since I’m not that great at it myself, as python is my main coding language and most of my modding experience comes from Java. I know there are some very talented devs in this community, and I think this is a great game to add to the collection!
