I hope you don’t mind me writing to you.

I’m a Neuro-sama fan living in China. I started watching Neuro’s streams and videos about two months ago, and during this time, your work, along with Neuro and Evil, has given me many genuinely precious and positive memories. I know I’m just one fan, but I also know many people here feel the same way.

While following the community, I noticed that many Chinese fans are unable to obtain official Neuro-sama merchandise. Because of this, some unofficial resellers (“gray-market” sellers) offer Neuro dolls at very high prices — often around 300 RMB — even though the official price is about 30 USD (roughly 209 RMB). This situation feels frustrating for fans who simply want authentic, fairly priced products.

I’ve also looked into Neuro-sama’s presence in China. On Bilibili (a major Chinese video platform), Neuro-related content has attracted close to one million followers. Despite this clear interest, there is currently no official merchandise channel in mainland China. As a result, some businesses import official products from Europe or North America and resell them locally, which creates a market that isn’t under your control.

Based on this, I wanted to respectfully ask whether it might be possible to explore the possibility of obtaining a license for Neuro-sama merchandise in mainland China, focusing only on physical merchandise. My hope is simply that Chinese fans — my compatriots — can access genuine, officially approved Neuro-sama products, rather than relying on overpriced unofficial sellers.

I completely understand if this isn’t something you’re interested in, or if the timing isn’t right. I mainly wanted to share what I’m seeing as a fan in China and express this idea with respect and sincerity.

Honestly, the only diffuclty that I'd see with that is regarding how hard it is do business in China from a legal perspective. You sometimes need a chinese national partner to make business easier/ open up the market. This implies some kind of joint venture where Vedal might have to give up some of his business' stakes just to operate and idk if he'd want that. Though, it seems to be more of a requirement for if he wanted to actually open up stores or a legal entity inside the country under his name or company's name. (Someone please fact check me on that; other business models may be possible but I'm not familiar enough with that system)

Tbh, the best way i'd see this happen is if Vedal could simply find a distribution partner in China and allow them to sell official merch through some kind of licensing agreement that allows them to legally use the brand for merch-selling purposes. This would allow Vedal to retain full stakes of what he built, and limit the financial risks (Won't actually be doing business in China; the partner would be in charge of selling it). However, he will need to decide carefully on which distributor to choose since some may be scummy (Which is especially important since he won't necessarly be able to monitor and actively control heavily how they do business).

Eitherway, to make this happen, Vedal should probably consult an actual business lawyer (to cover his ass and blindspots) or a consulting firm to help set all that up, if it's something that actually interests him.

According to the information collected on Chinese social media and swarm Mandarin discussion groups in mainland China, this situation is not entirely true.Maybe you can try to get a Visa credit card(it's absolutely legal in China) or use USTD.

Maybe some day in future Vedal could open a shop on B2 just for mainland Swarm,that is your suggestion.

In fact Chinese No one would want to complicate their life over a toy. Everyone is busy. While we love Neuro, the barriers to obtaining a VISA are extremely high in China.

I hope Neuro-sama have a China offical.It can ask us bug Neuro more convenience

Probably. From what I can see online, Jupiner seems to take care of both the manufacturing and shipping of fhe merch. However, I'm not sure if that's an obligatory service package or if they can contracted to only handle manufacturing. If that's the case, Vedal could: Get Juniper to only make the products and then use a separate service for shipment. Though, tbh that could be a bad idea since getting an entirely separate shipping service for everything could include a lot more headache.

In all honesty, the best for Vedal would probably be to (1) talk to them and see what can be done and (2) if they can optmize they distribution channels for China, make separate orders where Juniper only takes care of the manifacturing for China (If that's possible), and then another company takes care of shipping for that region
