Hello there! as you might know vedal gave the idea to move the hardcore minecraft challenge to the subathon. now i think this idea isnt that good for a series of reasons but the main ones i think are the best ones to discuss are the next ones
-
This challenge would consume subathon time: as you might know the subathon will probably be capped or softcapped. Making it so the time on the subathon be fleeting enough that this challenge interfering could provoke we would not see specific content, be it subathon goals other specific collabs and what not.
-
minecraft again!: the previous subathon had a super huge focus in minecraft be it with the personal server and stuff like that while i think thats good content, the subathon being focused again in minecraft would feel a bit overdone.
-
we need to know when we lose: a lot of the issues right now is neuro not being able due to the systems in play to play at a level to where she can substain herself without constant babysitting and while that allows for cute moments it is an immense issue to the challenge at hand. I heard from people that the idea of upgrading the AI is afloat, while this is a good idea the issue is time, again. today is the 8/12/2025 the subathon starts in 19/12/2025 meaning that we dont have enough time i supose to both upgrade the minecraft AI and prepare stuff for the subathon.
Now some suggestions i can give about how to handle the challenge:
-
do it after the subathon: would give both time and relaxation to upgrade the AI and make it more entertaining to beat the elder dragon making neuro an advantage instead of a liability
-
finish it before the subathon: more time consuming since bad AI and it being constant will make such a minecraft fatigue i dont know if anyone will be sane by then
-
Just admit you cant beat the challange: the most lame one and the one i would despise seeing but sometimes we gotta know when we lose
anyways those are my ideas give yours now!
