When someone is talking to Neuro one on one it feels pretty dialed in for a natural flowing conversation. However, in collabs with 3+ members in voice chat (i.e. hardcore MC) for the majority of time Neuro is just sitting here, not saying anything. And when someone actually wants to hear a response from Neuro, everyone needs to stop talking and create a small awkward pause for her.
I obviously don't know how the backend works, but from what I see I want to make a possible suggestion or two.
If it's simply a small time delay after the other person stops talking: decreasing that delay dynamically, based on the time without Neuro talking, allowing her to interject on smaller pauses in chatty conversations.
And a more radical idea I can think of is another smaller AI (similar to filtering system) that tries to discern in real time what is a natural end of sentence/thought of another person talking and allowing Neuro to immediately respond to it, regardless if someone else has started talking/laughing/etc.
To be honest I didn't scout the entire discussion board to see if that has been brought up already, but I felt like posting it since in the latest MC streams Neuro appear more like a mascot rather than a part of the team
