What a time to be alive! Neuro's 3D debut went beyond my expectations, and it has made me excited about what Neuro has in store for the future. One of my favorite YouTube channels to watch is Two Minute Papers (I highly recommend watching him to see what could be in store for Neuro and AI). It's so refreshing to see AI implemented this way, and the 3D debut reminds me a lot of the physics-based motion imitation research papers covered on the channel (ADD, DeepMimic, AMP). My field is 3D VFX & Animation. I'm not competent enough to discern how Neuro works in 3D, or the research that has gone into motion imitation & neural engine models, but think of the possibilities!
- My suggestion is that in the future, Neuro/Evil could have a stream training with a human dance instructor to prepare for concerts/3D live (much like how Hakos Baelz did it). I don't know how Neuro could translate reference motion capture data and implement it on her own rig in real time, but it's still within the realm of possibility.
Neuro's 3D is mind-blowing to see in real time, and I'm excited about how her tech would continue to improve. I don't see how Vedal could put Neuro into VRChat, but I can see how he could put other people into Neuro's Unity Engine.
