First of , 3D Neuro debut was absolutely phenomenal, and Vedal and all the people who made it possible cooked 🔥 What I noticed was there was a lot of Fillian esque movement, which would make sense because of Vedals Anti-Stealing Stance. Unfortunately that makes it incredibly likely that Neuro will struggle with a lot of things, with the lack of a large pool of training data. So my idea is this : Vedal(or a mod) makes a new channel, where the Swarm in possession of a VR Headset post videos of them doing movements, interacting, etc. , so that Neuro can have a larger pool of training data! This way the Swarm can help Vedal get the training data variety required to help Neuro during her 3D era, and nothing shady happens neuroHypers

I'm pretty sure this "anti-stealing stance" claim came for the documentary "how a turtle created the perfect AI", not anything Vedal ever said.
It's been spread around alot, and people will claim it expressing their admiration, but I don't think it has actually ever been something Vedal claimed.
I'm not an expert on AI, but I believe that training the base model itself is far too resource intensive a task for an individual, so Neuro is probably based on an open source model, meaning stolen data.

I think people are so fond of the narrative because they don't want to have to deal with the thought that neuro raises many of the same ethical concerns as other AIs.

Not that I'm claiming that Neuro is unquestionably unethical.
One could argue from a Utilitarian standpoint that ownership over data benefits the public good more than the existence of AI (or even just Neuro specifically) and hence scraping is moral. Whether that is true or not, who knows.

There is also an argument to be made from a Virtue Ethics standpoint, but I think I've yapped enough.

Point is, there can be many angles to examine how virtuous Neuro-sama is, but I think this whole "no stolen data" thing is a rumor that gained popularity because people don't want to face things that make them uncomfortable.

The idea of collecting 3D data from swarm is still a good one though. Not sure if there is alot of that avalible.

Considering how he is opaque he is in their use and the fact that the ways he obtained many would be less than savory if it were in the terms of an actual deal, this is probably a good thing.
While it's an interesting thought to think he's getting XYZ out of them, it'd be f***ed up if it was true.

the stream keys are literally just a joke, obviously you shouldn't hand them out at all, but like you can change it if you want you just have to relink obs which is a minor inconvenience at best

also the ppl who say stream keys are training clearly have no idea how they're even used

all it enables is you to stream to the channel and use obs to make overlays to put on stream and such, there is quite literally nothing that could be used as training data, like if vedal wanted to get data from a twitch stream he'd just take chat logs or something

Yes but she isn’t replacing human work. The channel uplifts new streamers, utilizes human artists, even promotes human art in an art review most streams. It’s a project full of human effort rather than effortless slop such as most AI content on YouTube that’s constantly spewed out 24/7.
