Specifically software related updates, meaning updates to the app or lava lamp firmware. i.e. new light modes, etc.

don't think so, there was a thread #1426173199951073351 here that asked for some features but at most it got the text to look more centered, aside from that, vedal hasn't said anything related to that, although not impossible I suppose
