#Can a fanart stay on screen until the next one is loaded?

During art review, sometimes, when it loads a bit slower, the actual fanart is only on screen for a relative short time between Arts.
Could the Art stay up longer, like until the next one is ready (maybe even give the reviewing twin the chance to hide it for some extra interactivity flavor?)

Good idea but... is vedal even in control of when the next art loads? xdd

bet he wishes he was xD
tho i imagine it could be doable to check if the art fetching is actually complete and only then hide the art currently on screen (talking with some assumptions)

Idk how it's implemented, only seen mentions of slow Discord API. But surely better to cache 5-10 posts locally before starting art review?
Caching could take 10 seconds or 5 minutes, while twins yap. Then switching posts would be faster, since loading from local cache would not depend on API latency and image loading speed.
Then again, fixing art review could be just 327th item on tutel's todo list, that's how it gets with projects

What vedal mentioned is the fact that the normal command for getting "threads" just tries to get everything that's considered ""active""
*What the heck does that even mean? Good question. But I think, even with moderators limiting the ""active time"" to the minimum, there's still too many posts that the command tries to get at once.

It would be easier to just pick the last 20–30 fanarts with the Neuro/Evil tag (without the WIP or unrelated tags), depending on who’s streaming, and randomize the order.
