Iirc, he has considered it but figured it'd be too difficult to manage all streams at once. I'm pretty sure he mentioned some other reasons related to his worries, but I do not remember his exact words, and I cannot find any clip related to it. Additionally it’d harder to moderate on youtube since their tools are garbage (as I’ve been told.)

On youtube, only the broadcaster can properly moderate like on twitch, the staff has little to no power, that's why multistreaming on youtube is garbage

My suggestion is to set youtube chat to members only.
I think the main worry was splitting the chat/views.

iirc mod tools there suck ass
looking at their youtube data api livestream api, literally only has deleting messages and banning people
not even timing out
also youtube streaming is bland asf, no built-in channel points or smth like that
not to mention the api just being a pain in general to work with
