Hi, wishing the best of lucks for all
I am really excited about you playing Outer Wilds since it's the best game I've experienced. I had a lot of fun watching the streams, but I do have some feedback:
- You prolly noticed how information reliant Outer Wilds is for progress in the game. Neuro however, due to being Neuro, makes up stuff more than half the time, really distracts you with meaningless information. At the risk of sounding like an asshole, she even is a little annoying sometimes with the yapping (im sure youre used to that).
Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching your interactions with her, but I'm just saying that she isn't serving as a good commentator.
-
I have some suggestions for making this enjoyable for both people who have played or the sinners who haven't:
Make it so that you can only talk to Neuro when you are close to the ship or in the ship, this combined with the (awesome) Neuro auto pilot kinda makes it a spaceship version of the Neuro Car. That'll leave you with space to think when you are out exploring places (if you think that is too little content-able time, maybe you can bring in a collab partner who played the game, but id also enjoy seeing you think and solve puzzles in silence) -
And a personal suggestion to make your own experience of the game more meaningful:
Try lingering in locations and on details a little bit more, I notice you seem to play the game at quite a rapid pace. This can be a detriment for your progression as you may miss some details and end up having to return to the location again. I imagine you can get a lot more info if you play more leisurely -
Well ultimately, this is still your content and your copy of the game, you can play the game however you want, and this is just a suggestion. I hope i didn't come off too gatekeepy, but I think that some thought from a person who played the game many times should help.
I hope you have a blast with the game as much as I did, stay safe, peace.
