Well it’s gotta work on a 7 segment display
1, 4, and 7 are made only of straight lines and are separated by two numbers with curves. There are two numbers with curves after 7 which means the next one should be straight lines
It must be recognizable by its major features so no slight modifications of other symbols. That leaves a small number of possible next numbers
