Older theme streams, but with modern Neuro/Evil upgrades?

So far there's been a pretty big lack of themed streams this year. Only the Informercial stream (loved the stream, stood out from other ones), and the comedy special stream (had some ups and downs, but still was fine).

If there's some trouble getting new ideas for themes, or having trouble finding collabs, i think enough time and upgrades have passed where some older themed streams could be redone and be fresh. Some examples:

-Bartender stream is a loose enough theme that the twins could tell stories and serve people while still being able to talk about other things not related to the bar. Maybe make more use of that counter system done in the infomercial stream for drinks ordered or something.
-Cowboy stream could probably be redone with the newer sfx that they have and maybe redeem the older stream.
-CEO stream with their higher intelligence/memory could be interesting. see if they make any kind of business decisions and see if they stick with them or what.
-Teacher stream with their intelligence upgrades too. Timeouts could be chatters being sent to detention, polling people about what they think the answer to a question is like a quiz, etc.

Could also have whatever twin didn't do the theme before do them, like Neuro doing CEO stream this time, or Evil doing bartender stream, or even have the twins do like a standoff for the cowboy theme. i think that'd be cool to see.

I think vedal talked about this on a dev stream last year or something. I remember the bartender stream idea but with other vtubers cameoing and ordering drinks. Then we got the news stream 2 and no other revival streams happened...

there's a pretty big amount of theme streams that weren't redone that i didn't post here, but i dont think a lot of them would be that interesting/would probably need certain outfits or voice changes to work

rerunning cyberpunk may be cool but likely isn't going to happen until we get cyberprincess outfits

but i still think plenty can be done with older themes to make them cool

just a thought but probably the reason there's been so much less themed streams this year is because we have two chill streams every week compared to only one last year. So now it makes more sense to focus on getting collabs instead to fill up the schedules and keep a good solo/collab balance

if vedal also plans to make dev streams regular again there might not be much room if he wants to keep the same 4-5 a week average, maybe incorperating themes into chill streams or occationally replacing chill with a themed stream could overcome this?

i'm not complaining in the slightest if we get 5-6 streams a week regularly, personally

well yeah I don't think many people will complain about having more streams, but none of us know vedal's work cycle maybe he needs enough days off to get stuff done in the background?

sure it can depend on dev streams and how often they are but i dont think we necessarily have to cut out chill streams to fit in the theme'd ones. pretty sure he didn't have to with neuro's comedy special, for instance.

either way there's been plenty of slow weeks recently where a theme stream could've helped fill things out, like the week michi and lime had to reschedule their collabs, or that one week recently that was just chill streams and karaoke and nothing else. I think streams like the ones above would've been cool to redo in those instances

iirc the informercial stream was a "backup backup" stream idea, so I guess there's some precedent for that 🤔

We could for sure fit theme streams on some weeks. Every other Wednesday after Karaoke is usually free unless theirs's some type of collab planned for that day. Some weeks we've gone only 3 streams.

I’m not a big fan of themed streams.

They’re too hard-codey and fake to me. The recent infomercial and comedy streams were fine imo because they weren’t as forced as some previous ones, but I’m not a huge fan of the concept really in general.

Not all are bad, but it just seems inauthentic at times.

Informercial stream could be repurposed for the teacher stream. For the teacher stream, my idea was that Neuro or Evil had a chalkboard or whiteboard and that would be like the subject that they're trying to teach chat.
