I'm sure there's a way to get the reactions as well when api loads the submissions. My suggestion would be scoring them based on reactions (perhaps a mix of ⭐ and ❤️ reactions).
This way, the top 10-20 most community loved submissions get showcased on stream. But in order to not discourage other smaller/beginner artists, the rest of the art can be chosen at random.

I understand that from a viewer's point of view you want to see only the "best" arts. But art review is not only a part of entertainment, but also an appreciation of the artists for their work. So no matter how much art is received reactions, everyone deserves attention

I agree with reyforn. This sound bad imo... It's not about showing "most liked art" but showing the community love and dedication as a whole. Why are we gate keeping it to only selected few professional artist?

fwiw that's what starboard and art competitions accomplish, vedal made a point of wanting to interact with the community more, we shouldn't restrict what Neuro sees as the community to a select few

hmm... in that case, we could do top 10-20, followed by an X amount of random, this way the top still gets represented, and everyone else gets an equal chance afterwards
