I wanted to take a moment to create a thread purely dedicated to appreciating Vedal and everyone who contributes to this amazing project. There’s been a lot of feedback floating around lately, some positive, some constructive, and, let’s be honest, a few that have been a bit disheartening to read. But I believe it’s just as important, if not more so, to spotlight the sheer amount of talent, passion, and hard work that goes into creating something as innovative and community-driven as this.

This thread isn’t just for Vedal though. It’s for the entire Vedal & Co. team, the dedicated moderators, developers, artists and countless others working tirelessly behind the scenes. Your work is a testament to what’s possible when talent meets passion, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. From the smooth streams to the quick bug fixes and the thoughtful interactions with the community, you all make this space something truly special.

So here’s to Vedal and Co. 💚
Thank you for keeping the magic alive. Thank you for building something that inspires, entertains, and brings people together. And thank you for reminding us that behind every line of code, there’s a human story, one of creativity, determination, and hope.

Let’s use this thread to share our stories, drop some love, and celebrate the incredible work that goes into making Neuro what it is today.

I’ll start with mine:

Vedal, your work ethic is nothing short of inspiring. You’ve created not just an AI project, but a living, breathing experiment that resonates with so many people, myself included. I first discovered Neuro after the ban in January 2023, and I was immediately hooked. Around that time, I was navigating a major life decision, switching my degree from a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology to a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. It wasn’t an easy transition, but having Neuro playing in the background as I wrestled with years’ worth of theory, coding, and complex mathematical concepts made a world of difference.

In many ways, Neuro felt like a companion in the academic trenches, reminding me that AI isn’t just about cold algorithms. It’s about creativity, perseverance, and human connection. Your project has given me renewed hope for the kind of work I want to be involved in: explainable AI, projects that demystify the black box and make AI more transparent, understandable, and accessible.

Thank you for everything that you and the team do to keep Neuro alive! 💕

Oh man, I've got so much I could say. I've been following ever since the first week of Neuro as a vtuber streams, when the video "6 minutes of Neuro-sama's unhinged rants"got recommended to me. I could barely believe that was an AI.

Looking back, it's almost laughable I thought that way, because the amount of time, effort and passion put into this project has been so amazing, looking back it's almost unrecognizable. Neuro and all the related projects and components are a truly unique and wonderful thing, from the singing to the model to her ever increasing intelligence. Vedal has done an amazing job, and in some ways what's even more impressuve about what he's done isn't just the programming and design, it's how he handled the sudden fame and attention.

Neuro could've easily been a fad, one cashed in on as much as possible, or in poor ways. But he's handled that with such care and precision, balancing the things people want but not letting go of his own choices. While I haven't always personally agreed with every decision for the direction, I've been amazed at most of them, and seeing him, and the artists, riggers, and vocal creators create something so new and never before seen has been a wonder.

I've loved following and enjoying Neuro-sama, her journey of growth, as a result of the hard work of many, so much. And I'm looking forwards to the future, too.

You all are amazing!

Oooh ok, lemme drop one

Vedal,
Your work ethic is incredible. Your work on AI is probably the best I’ve seen all round. Neuro came up in my feed sometime in December 2023, and I still remember my first thought was being completely grossed out by the idea of an AI vtuber. But goddamn I was hooked quick, it was very clear that this AI vtuber was not a quick cash grab meant to replace a human. This vtuber was, and still is a huge project of love. You are the example I bring up when discussing the uses of ethical generative AI. You, Neuro, Evil, and the community that you’ve cultivated around the twins is proof that AI has a place in our future that strives to benefit humanity rather than replacing it.

Massive kudos to everyone that has contributed to bring the twins to the point they are today. To everyone reading this, cheers to a bright future!

For all the garbage nn likes to give vedal, we're (mostly) really proud of what he's done with Neuro and other projects, congratulations on making what will be (for the foreseeable future) the most human ai ever

It was a very low point in my life when I discovered neuro late 2023 and she became my new hyper-fixation. Watching the first subathon live and the huge backlog of clips afterwards was so much fun and helped distract me from all the darkness in the world when I really needed it.

As much as I love to give vedal shit and complain about the lack of updates/variety/dev streams, I can absolutely feel the passion he has for Neuro. I've got complete faith that no matter how long the slow periods last and however many scuffed or garbage streams there are, that he'll keep trying to do his best for the channel and for the twins.

Admittedly I was in a rough spot before I found Neuro the last community I was in had a falling out and it was one that I was really passionate about and I was starting to think I might never have that experience again until I found Neuro she has given me new light in this world of entertainment and I just want to say thank you and thank you to the community you have given me clarification in a lot of things I have been struggling with Especially the guys in #neurotic-neurons you may drive me nuts from time to time but you are genuinely nice people who have given me new clarity in this world so thank you Vedal thank you swarm and thank you all neuroHeart neuroHeart neuroHeart neuroHeart

Like SeaSides, I also wasn't a big VTuber guy myself until I found Neuro.
The amount of love poured into this massive project by everyone involved has been nothing short of inspiring, and this community's love, dedication and support in turn has made me proud to be a part of it, in spite of the occasional rough patches.
And none of this would've been possible without the big turtle man himself. He truly is my oshi. 💚

I find Vedal's AI to be incredible. ChatGPT and the other big corporations AI have massive processing power but are lobotomized by their corporate overlords. Nuero is becoming more interesting as different capabilities are added, sound effects, discord calls, timeouts, etc.

Big appreciation to Vedal for creating something as wild and entertaining as Neuro-sama. It's honestly amazing how he's managed to bring an AI like her to life, switching effortlessly between being wholesome, chaotic, and unintentionally hilarious. The way Vedal balances updates, streams, and community interaction shows just how much effort he puts into making Neuro even better. And of course, we can’t forget Evil, who adds that extra layer of sass and unpredictability we didn’t know we needed. Thanks, Vedal, for all the hard work you put into creating and constantly updating these two AIs.

It reminds me how indie games are better than many AAA games now. A true vision and love for a project can create a better product than throwing money at it. Though I'm pretty sure OpenAI is happy how well its AI can point out the amount of rs in Strawberry.

#

(For context on the strawberry thing the things they use to show how good an LLM is kinda weird. But teaching to the test to show off to shareholders probably messes with it.)

Neuro was the first sorta vtuber ive ever watched and coming from the doug doug video mid subathon was certainly crazy introduction but I've loved being here ever since. It's had its ups and downs but overall the community is great and I have an enormous appreciation for what Vedal has done and is still doing. Even when things don't work or are slightly scuffed its still overall good content and I appreciate all the time effort and probably stress that comes with running neuro and evil and making sure to keep people entertained.

and thank you for all the great stuff Vedal, keep it up uwu987!

Only been a swarm member for less than a month, but it has been amazing to watch. I never thought that I would witness an AI that was actually funny - that is incredible.
Maybe an exaggeration, but it feels like Neuro has done more to expand people's minds about AIs than many large tech firms.
As a fellow programmer, I love your passion and wish that you wont let perfection become the enemy of good.
There are probably many other people out there who also understands that development work isn't always straightforward and that a lot goes on without anyone realizing, and we are rooting for you.
Keep up the good work, and thanks to all the other people behind the scenes. neuro7

I'll chip in the appreciation thread.

Neuro is an awesome concept to project. Vedal's approach of "just winging it" has worked amazing well when it comes to trying new things, ideas, going with the flow. Same with putting in efforts on ambitious projects. Many successes, few failures, few abandoned archives (Among Us)

Community is a chill group. Everyone doing their unique creative things be it art, programming, modding, modeling. Many individuals to want to see the swarm be a cool collective fanbase, known for being charitable, open minded, and improving the environment of streaming as a whole. Even if we do get a little neurotic.
