Highlighted messages & redeems, channel point inflation

Highlighted messages still haven't returned, and before they were removed, they cost 50k channel points. I get that inflation made it cost more and more because there were simply too many messages going through, but I don't believe the issue is the cost, it's the demand.

There aren't enough things to spend points on. If there were more redeem choices, then the spent points would be spread out more widely rather than all pooling into highlighted messages. And Neuro wouldn't have her toggles on near constantly. Because right now, that's all there is to use points on.

Many Twitch channels have a lot more options for redeems than Neuro has right now. To add more would be good for chat engagement, and would decrease the amount of highlighted messages and cost necessary.

A couple example ideas would be: Neuro doesn't have a redeem for toggling her short hairstyle so that could be added, and one that's been requested a lot is a headpat redeem (like some other vtubers have). That's just a couple, I'm certain there's many more that could be added as well (anybody feel free to add suggestions here!)

I hope that highlighted messages can return soon and we can get more fun redeems to interact with Neuro's stream at affordable prices!

Another insane suggestion that might not be feasible but would be neat: 200k(?) to get Neuro/Evil to call each other for like 10(?) minutes (disabled for collabs)

Personally I'm glad that they are gone and I hope that the toggle redeems are also going to be gone soon when Vedal implements the twins deciding to change them themselves.

Putting more stuff into the redeems will just make the stream too messy. At the size of the community that we are right now I feel like it's impossible for that to not be messy, no matter what you do.

I don't mind something to spend them on, but prefer if the twins controlled everything about their own models and stuff like that.

Unpopular opinion, but I would vote against a headpat functionality. Reasons:

1. It's weird. It makes sense for VTubers who have a dog persona or something like that, but it would be creepy for Neuro and Evil. People are already weird with highlighted messages pretending to pull their tails and whatnot, and the reactions are usually negative. Having an option to touch them is just weird.
2. It's unoriginal. One of the biggest strengths of Neuro and Evil is that their streams and what they can do is unlike other streamers. Headpat redeem would in no way synergise with their AI capabilities or personas.
3. It's ugly. If it is the same gif of that hand that will be used, it is just plain ugly and low quality. And the animation looks like it's mostly just rubbing the thumb against the forehead. It's just plain ugly visual noise.
4. It would most likely be overused waaay too much, and especially if Neuro and Evil can sense it and responds to it, it would derail all conversations all the time.

I like the idea of more channel point redeems but i also understand that they definitely can’t be too intrusive or obtrusive.
Maybe channel point redeems that just affect something in the background like maybe the lighting or some decorations in neuros room
Maybe make a channel point redeem to make a small spinning cookie or a drone appear for like 3 seconds or longer depending on how many ppl are redeeming lol. Just make sure they can’t be spammed to make things lag or whatever.
They would be small and insignificant but I still like having little ways to interact with a stream like that besides just chatting. I would definitely love giving neuro or evil a virtual cookie even if they don’t notice it
