There is something we have specifically for Vienna for her game mechanic, but I'm more thinking in terms of mini games that pop up between nights. Giving elaboration on what's actually going on. I didn't mention it before, but the reason evil Neuro is able to bring the characters to life is because she got possessed by the abberdemon. So the mini games can be about slowly exorcising it or connected to how the vtubers are being brought to life. Or be a sneak peak as to who is about to be introduced in the next level.
Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head.

Okay, so the story is that you play as a famous fan artists for Neuro and many other vtubers, and one night, you find some of those characters you drew came to life and are walking around your house. After you lock yourself inside your office to escape, you find Neuro on your computer, and she tells you that she tracked Evil Neuro onto your computer and believes that Evil is behind the characters that are walking around the house, thanks to the power of the abberdemon. Now, you have to help Neuro during the night by protecting her from the vtubers coming to get rid of Neuro, so that she can find and isolate the code that Evil is hiding in and exorcise the abberdemon. I know that I talked about the story in the original post, but I thought it would be a good idea to put this here so people don't have to jump back and forth between the 2 posts.

Is all of this directly told to the player from the start?

Eventually. It's something that will probably be revealed to the player by the 3rd or 4th night. Don't want to give it away right off the bat.
The first part about Neuro tracking down Evil is the part that will be told to the player on the 1st night, but the rest will be for later.

Does the lore say how Evil ended up here and how she got the abberdemon powers?

Well, we have been going back and forth on how Evil ended up on the player's PC. The one that we keep coming back to is that she hitched a ride on an email between the player and Vedal, and she got on that way. As for how she got the abberdemon powers, that's because she summoned it herself. It's part of her overall goal of revenge, and she just summoned it. As for how she managed to summon the abberdemon, I don't really know. We already have exorcisms being performed on a piece of code, so she probably set up a digital summoning circle/ritual.

Maybe about some of that. I don't know if that would be necessary for the whole "how did Evil get onto the player's computer" thing, but for how the abberdemon got to possess Evil and how Evil was able to summon it, I think there could be a mini game for that.
As well as one that reveals Evil Neuro's motivation for summoning the abberdemon too.

I'm imagine a computer in the middle of a dark room and a dark figure has to put 5 object in a pentagram pattern around it or something.
Maybe each night (5 nights) there is a secret item to find in game and when you get them all you unlock this minigame.

There are kinda 3 types of minigames, fnaf 2 had small chance on death ones, fnaf 3 had ones you had to find/unlock, fnaf 4 had one each night.

OH, you know the dark animatronic faces that sometimes appear after you die in the first 3 games?
Maybe you can have one like that appearing with a small chance on death of a faint dark evil neuro face with no eyes that after a while flashes into a demon face before disappearing in a fraction of a second.

A bit of an update about the game. Working on the Sinder model, since it's the hardest one of all of the characters due to the fire. We are playing around with shaders and have got something that looks pretty good. The flames are just missing the Okami swirls. We also had to split Sinder's model into 4 parts. 1 is her main body, 2 of them are her ear flames, and the last one for the tail fire.

That is something we are considering. We do have an awful lot of characters to balance mechanics wise, so we might change one of them and remove their mechanic to replace her.

So, there was a post from someone in our discord server about our general channel getting added to something called Freddy Faztinni's Pizzeria #🔔server-announcements. I didn't think too much of it because it was April Fools and I couldn't find them in the members list (assuming that's what had happened). But just today we got this post and now I'm worried that the server was hacked or something and I can't find any information about it. Does anyone here know anything about it, or know where I can ask around? I want to avoid anyone on the project getting hacked at all costs.

It means someone followed that announcement channel and linked it to your general channel. Usually you need a specific role to do that.
That looks like the announcement channel for the discord of either Raora or the justice gen of Hololive
When you follow and add an announcement channel, every post there gets forwarded to your channel.
If the person who added it isn't there anymore then maybe you can just unfollow it and it will be fine, but it will be better to find out who it was

Raora may have made the announcement, but I highly doubt that she added our channel.

So, I normally come with an update about some progress that we made on the project, but ever since the drama, that I will not be getting into, a lot of us have lost enthusiasm for working on the project. Combine that with the IRL stuff as well, very few of us have actually been doing anything for the project for a while.
This has been a passion project of mine for almost a year now, which is why, with a heavy heart, I will be putting the project on hiatus. Whether this is permanent or not, I don't know, but I don't think that it's going to happen anytime soon. If someone on the project does do some work for it, I will make updates here, but I am not holding onto hope for that.
