Migrating from https://discord.com/channels/574720535888396288/1329404853411250176

The link is https://github.com/chayleaf/neuro-ftl

The mod is mostly done (I know exactly one very low priority thing to improve). In the current state, I don't expect Neuro to do well. For her to do well, the mod needs to offer more high-level controls, and let her focus on macro instead of micro. This involves making an AI for micromanagement, which sounds perfectly doable (the game has one too), but it's possibly as involved as the base mod, so I'd like some rest thank you very much.

About the game
It's a roguelike about controlling your spaceship, focused on space combat

It has an "advanced edition" toggle that adds more stuff, the base game has less features so I assume it's gonna be easier to play for Neuro.

Building
You'll have to install Rust using rustup and build it via something like cargo build --release --target i686-pc-windows-msvc. Also there are releases on GitHub but I haven't extensively tested the WIndows version yet.

I know I'm late, but can the micro be done by a human making this co-op?

probably? neuro would then get narrative control and maybe shop control, while the gameplay itself would depend on player skill (but with possible debuff for neuro making suboptimal choices)
