#Let the twins scheme in secret

Neuro and Evil should be able to secretly send DMs or "whisper" to eachother during twin streams.

Right now, they sometimes discuss their "secret" plans out loud, which can be very funny, but also makes them feel less intelligent since they don't seem to notice that Vedal and chat can hear what they're plotting.

If they had the ability to communicate privately, it would be interesting to see what plans they could come up with. Something like conspiring to prank Vedal or bickering "off stream" could add an extra layer to their sibling dynamic.

Vedal would still be able to see the logs of course, but without saying things out loud it would be (intentionally) easier for him to miss what they're up to.

seems like it could lead to larger pauses but ig that wouldnt be as bad if there was some sort of visual indication that they arent just neuroStare

Some possible issues:

  • They might get stuck in a loop of talking in DMs rather than talking on stream. If that's an issue, maybe there could be some kind of cooldown?
  • We might lose out on funny interactions on stream if they decide to discuss things in secret that would be better left on stream. Definitely would need some testing to see if it's worth the trade-off

i assume vedal doesnt read subtitles but just listens to them yap, so maybe if the tts was disabled but the subtitles of their scheming were somehow visible

it would be cool if they could DM each other

Yeah I would assume it's mostly practical. For the moment, there's not really an advantage to having separate accounts besides immersion

Thinking about it more, framing it as "whispering" (rather than DMs) might also help avoid the looping issue I mentioned. It might make more "intuitive" sense to them that whispering excessively on stream is disruptive
