Suddenly, right before landing, one of them " accidentally " drops the child and we watch the remaining twin come to terms with the reality of their dead sibling.

Great idea! Though tbh I think fumos would be able to absorb the shock and land unscathed (even with their internal blood bag intact)
It would be cool if we could get the fumo/effigy to spectacularly explode or decapitate on impact
I think twitch would also be fine with it because no real living things are being harmed (at least, uwo has been able to exploit that loophole for most of a year now)

I think it would be an interesting scenario and would look cool
plus you would get to see the 'dead' twin instantly be revived/transferred to the digital realm (a la mincraft clone death or operation pheonix from Rick & Morty)
tho maybe it could be better executed in a saw-ripoff. It would be like an anti-creepypasta because the twins' digital nature cuts through all the tension
