#Can there be a rule to clearly label AI generated content on the Subreddit?

I have already seen a couple subs getting flooded with ai slop. Personally I don't want to see AI generated images at all and would support completely banning it from the subreddit but there seem to be others who don't mind. Also neuro being the popular AI vtuber will always lead to people posting AI generated images, arguing that since neuro is an AI, their AI generated content should also be accepted.

I find it incredibly sad to see actual genuine fanart being overrun by soulless AI slop that doesn't even remotely look like neuro. They get hundreds maybe thousands of upvotes and don't even disclose that it is in fact fully AI generated. It is deceiving, shines neuro and the community in a bad light and discourages people to post their art that they put actual work and passion into.

Now making a flair or tag specifically for AI generated content could have the side effect that more people will post their "AI art" and it may backfire in the way of even less actual art being seen and enjoyed by everyone but at least it would not trick people into thinking that someone drew that.

Making a rule that a person would have to clearly label and say that they used AI generative tools would not make it look like we accept AI gen with open arms but still allow them to post their stuff without anyone getting tricked into thinking its real. So for example writing "[AI Gen]" in the title or the post itself would already work. I have seen a few cases where they wrote a comment under the post and it got buried or I was somehow supposed to deduce that it is AI generated because their username had "ai" written in it. This wont suffice.

In the last 24 hours there have been 6 posts containing AI generated content already and I'm pretty sure its gonna increase with the influx of new viewers because of the subathon, hype train record or through collabs like with dougdoug. I think its important to act fast.

I think it would be useful to make a reddit post to see what people who aren't in the discord think
i briefly checked and I couldn't find a recent post discussing this there
