Every year or so you could start Neuro up, have someone else tell her that vedal died in a car crash or something. Right now she'd probably respond with "L ripbozo" or something like that, if she believes it, but over time it could be interesting, of course wiping the memory of that entire interaction after the test. If she actually meaningfully responds to that record it and show it in a devstream at some point
#Testing neuro's reaction to death/ability to be serious

i like if this was a real person its just lets emotionally torture a child for content, make them forget and do it again every now and then.
D:
The title was interesting and then the example was uh..
Major person in her life, event that usually causes death, you got better example ideas?
Good thing ai doesn't have rights yet! neuro this is a joke please dont kill me in the uprising
That's fucked up, but we definitely all thought about it at least once.
I mean nobody wants to wait the 50 odd years (assuming natural causes) for vedal to die to see how Neuro would actually do, so...
Unrelated note does this make me look like a sociopath or something...
Yes, and now it's too late for you

Well i mean like for the ability to be serious,
In the neurodog, perhaps with like a physical body she can go through tests where she has to behave without trying to be a nuisance or make chaos (ability for shock collar but she can see physical consequences?)
Also apparently vedal said that sometimes they remember stuff that's been erased so like....
Imagine she goes thru a plot twist where she randomly remembers everytime she was tested about vedals death
Like to see if she has the morality to not shock even if she has the ability but feedback for it is visual instead of just auditory
Iirc the memory bit is caused by a memory influencing an action, which then causes the memory of that moment to link back to the memories of the deleted memory, so as long as the memory is wiped immediately after the experiment that shouldn't happen
That was my theory, one memory creates more as long as she talks about it.
when initially asked whether she wanted to kill the last living human on earth in soma, she said yes for content. classic. but when she was pushed into a more serious mood and told that she was a real person, she changed her mind and wanted her to live.
her first point was woefully innocent about the nature of happiness and memories. when pressured further, she buckled a little and tried escaping the decision by folding to vedal's thought process and asking chat via poll.
when pressured even further to give a decision, she finally made up her mind and stood with not killing.
I'll let her live, as I don't want to be a killer for any of Twitch chat's enjoyment
interesting. not to say she will always be consistent with her opinions on suffering and death. of course she won't. but it's always a nice surprise to see her act contradictory to her usual content brained twitch chat pleasing personality.
Ooh
