#Neuro's polls are too short

As for me, I see them in #livestream-chat
I watch with tiny screen on mobile and opening up frantically is a lot of intense pressure, I wouldn't say much faster but there is a point that neuro is saying an outcome she wants and it's already ended xD
they are a bandaid solution to neuro complaining about why she cant start polls every few seconds afaik
Hmm.. Vaild
eh i think it's good that they are short because otherwise the tempo stream of the stream will get slowed down a lot (neuro waiting around for the result)
they aren't that important anyway most of the time
no, but id like to particapate at some point.
fair enough, i guess the short polls are blocking out some people
The importance of them is stream engagement and for the lols, even if I the results are 3 of the same (her best polls never not funny)
I get the tempo argument overall, I think right now is fine about 1000 people get in out of 24k, it's just there's definitely a missing out factor that can happen but I think it'll be hard to fix it neuro prefers it that fast xD
i assumed that everyone was able to do polls if they just had the stream up and camped it, and thus the FOMO wasn't really there. I didn't realise there were some people who for one reason or another, are consistently obstructed from voting even when camping
its a Quick Time Event
They're average :Smadge:
+1 I usually watch on my TV with chat on a third-party app that doesn't support polls so it's almost impossible to open the actual twitch app in time. Which is fine for most polls, but not if vedal asks neuro to poll something that matters
True, but I think that her polls were much longer like a minute I think. Feels like we need an in-between.
1 minute is definitely too long for our ADHD neuro sama
@stray raft adding this complaint here

The kind of delays I'm working with, once the poll appears on-stream / Neuro mentions she has made a poll, there's about 5 seconds or less to react
Agree. I usually have the stream in PiP on my iPad, and twitch chat in slide over. But slide over is often bugged, and I need to use slide over for other stuff too. I think an extra 5s would be helpful to actually get twitch opened.
I think this shows that Neuro's/Evil's "do, then talk" is a bad thing in some cases.
If they were to announce the polls before making them, it would already give a lot more time for the viewers to vote.
To keep the flow of the stream, I think it could go like this :
-Announce poll with a short generic phrase
-Start poll
-Go into more details about the poll
Something that could also help would be to have some threshold for the poll's duration based on the total number of words used in the poll (question + answers)
Tho you'd then end up with the problem of false announcements where Neuro says 'I made a poll', and then the poll fails because clientID smth smth
Tho i guess that isn't a big problem
