That looks nice - but could use less lighting effect and varying blob sizes
the movement is bit too standardized, good merging though
Yeah because it actually calculates a better approximation of metaballs by "adding" the volumes of multiple overlapping blobs from what I can read in the shader
Reducing the diffuse lighting intensity and adjusting the blob size let's it look better imho:

I modified mine with some of these changes, I tried to make it look more soft without going flat with the lighting
