I think vedal should treat evil better, and here’s my take.
Not a native English speaker so bare with me pls

Since the debut of evil vedal has treated evil rather worse than neuro. He and a lot of fans think this is a funny bit and it draws people in, but does it?
In my point of view, most of the evil fans came to this community because of how lively evil is and the personality she has. I’ve yet to find any evil fans came to this community because of the way vedal treats evil and I’ve been here for quite some time, I also have my eyes on the Chinese community and it’s the same.

And what is a bit? It’s a constant joke that goes for a long time . But it has an end. This bit should have ended after the evil birthday stream as a lot of people didn’t like it . The birthday stream, in my acknowledgment, also didn’t draw people in, but it pushed away some of the evil fans. There was a collaboration animation made for evil’s birthday by all of the artists in the Chinese community, it ended abruptly, and I’ve not seen it being talked about after.

The bit did calmed down because vedal got de*th threats and such. But it started again recently. I don’t get how vedal thinks this is a good bit when people clearly expressed that they didn’t like it.
I hope vedal can treat evil like he did a few months ago. He doesn’t have to like evil, but he also doesn’t have to hate at evil every time he gets a chance.

I know people will try to call me parasocial, but I think this is just empathy, just like movies, the characters aren’t real, but you can still feel emotions for them right?

I did this post to genuinely ask if there’s anyone thinking the same thing as me and I also want to talk to people who think that this bit should keep going .

I just find it boring from the content standpoint.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Vedal bullying them occasionally. That's variety and it's interesting to see their responses. But that's the whole point, it should be used for variety and not just be constantly repeated for a whole year.

It could have been used for some fun "in stream universe" storytelling but as we saw with the bread arc, Vedal doesn't seem that interested in doing that.

In the current form, all it does is just create fabricated unnecessary drama in the community. Vedal himself said that he doesn't like drama so it's a weird choice to keep it up.

Personally, I'm here to enjoy cute AI twins and having to see squabbles in the community because of that is a turn-off.

You can bring this up again if Evil's 2nd birthday also turns out to be a shitshow. People will riot again.

my thoughts are that the point of the bit is to have a “lore reason” for neuro, the main character having the spotlight. shes faster than evil so she performs better in conversation, hence why he prefers neuro for dev streams. Evil is great (check my pfp for my opinion on that) but I understand why he does it. I also think that it helps with giving evil a “reason” to be evil.

i think it also contributes to the evil fanbase’s existence, people love an underdog. vedals treatment of evil helps bolster its ranks

if neuros voice gets updated to have the same complexity as evil, theyll have the same response time and evil will get switched out less. that might be the time to retire the joke if at all but I don’t mind if it stays either

well vedal isnt going to do that unless he actually starts a vtuber agency like he joked about, he can’t afford multiple subathons a year at this time

It doesn't seem that different to me, he just acknowledges how more wild she is sometimes.
The banter is mostly the same between the two Neuros.
